ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER 7B/V8, Tintagel North, Cornwall

All along the watchtower is a super nice bloc in the Purple Haze boulder in Tintagel. Awesome rock (welded tuff), ratty positive crimps, a cross over move and a victory jug to finish, it doesn't get much better than this!
The crux for me was keeping the feet on while doing the cross over move, after this you have a couple of moves until you get the jug.
I really loved the problem, I wish I could have stayed for longer and have a go at AWOL apprentice but I guess I would have needed several sessions for that one and we were there for only a couple of hours...!
This footage is from Sept 2020 when I went on holidays to Cornwall.
I'd say it's in the soft end of 7B so a really good one if you want to get your first of the grade!
