Thanks for this video. It is very helpful. I’m taking my son out of Christian private school to start homeschooling. It will be a trial year. His school’s curriculum uses BJU so we are starting off with BJU Press. I’m so nervous, but ultimately feel led by God. My son is on the President’s list every year and does very well in school so I hope I’m not making a mistake. He is currently a 4th grader. I have concerns with the children at school influencing my sweet son. They’re into some pretty dark things. I am finding out that Christian school still has the same peer pressures as public school

I'm so glad you mentioned reading aloud. That's my #1 when anyone asks me about how to start to homeschool! I can't even explain the amount of fruits I've seen in our kids/family because we've prioritized reading aloud from the beginning years and year ago!

Super grateful for this channel! I’ve been homeschooling now for almost 3 full years and I feel like I’m still fairly scattered and don’t do a great job of preparing. I am as surprises. They are when it comes to what we’re doing for history or science.😆 I would love to see any content on preparedness as the parent/teacher and grading, etc.!

I’m so pleased you’ve made this channel! I took your homeschooling course and it was such a brilliant investment, it was invaluable! I spent far more on another course before yours, Empowered Homeschooling, and it didn’t help me one iota… and it was CONSIDERABLY more expensive. I recommend it to anyone who asks me about homeschooling on Instagram so if you’re reading this and on the fence - do it!
I would love videos on here about homeschooling middle and high school… curriculums and tips. I’ve been homeschooling the littler ones for a couple of years now but start with my 13 year old tomorrow and it’s a whole new world 🙈
