I would definitely love a video on going from level 3 to 4! Two of my kids will be doing level 3 next year and I already have their LA books. I was really hoping they'll update 4 again before my kids get to it. I have the 2020 version from my oldest, he tried it a couple years ago but he has special needs so he didn't get far in it for other reasons. But I've been able to look at it in depth and it is soo different from the new 3. It doesn't seem like they flow well from one to the next, almost like it's from 2 different companies. It still looks good and I liked the few lessons that my oldest did, just not as good.
I’m using their revised level K LA and I LOVE it. I used all the old versions up to level 3 and thought I wouldn’t use their LA again. But wow I can’t believe how much better I like them now! Ordered level 1, 2, and 5 for this fall. I’m glad my daughter did something different for level 4! Level 5 looks good even if it isn’t revised. She loves nature and watercolor so right up her alley. This has also been our best year of homeschooling! I think I’m finally finding our groove and what curriculum is a good fit and also finding a good balance of outings/activities but not so many that I’m overwhelmed!

We started with TGATB 4th for my oldest, and it worked well for us, but we did switch out for Spelling U See. Now my 2nd will be going into 4th next year. I trust the change will do well for her... we have loved their LA!

My daughter just started the Badger Hills and she is loving it! She is also in 4th grade but reading wasn't her favorite. Since she started this series, she has been obsessed. She's about to start her third book and it's only been a couple weeks! I sure hope TGTB comes out with a new series soon :) P.s we love love love FREE!! lol Thanks for sharing! Blessings~Felicia

I am very much looking forward to the video about TGATB level 4! I have been wondering how the transition will be all year. I love level 3 so much and I know level 4 is different since I did it with my son last year. We skipped the readers though, so idk about them. I’m going to miss level 3 😭 But I think it’ll be fine. I also don’t like the spelling, so we use IEW spelling.
We used the old LA our first year homeschooling and stopped because it wasn't working. The revised k-3 are awesome and have loved. We haven't liked 4. We ended up adding EIW for writing and AAS for spelling. We still use the LA for art, geography, and some of their extra practice with spelling rules. Unsure about using 5 next year. Hopefully its more like their updated LA.
We did the same. We changed the spelling to IEW Phonetic Zoo and IEW Structure and Style and Fix-It Grammer during Level 4. We still use it for all the same things as you. And still use the grammer in TGATB along with Fix-it because I think it's good practice. So still love TGATB but hoping level 5 is better in those areas! 😊
I usually order when they have a coupon code and it helps with shipping... sometimes shipping will be like $10... and I feel like it's worth it for me when I look at the prices and compare with Canadian prices :)
