Really good review. I’ve grown to appreciate my Quest 3 since I started doing mods and emulators on it. It’s not perfect by any means and I still have issues with dead pixels, which is as bad as it gets, but other than that I enjoy having somewhat control over my OS. I plan to push the upper limits of the Q3 very soon by installing a very large MMO game from 2002. If it can run that, anyone’s opinion will mean absolutely diddly squat and the AVP can take a hike. 😂😂😂

@@KedrickFoster the current limit is installing and running switch games natively with no PC assistance, which is still wobbly, but I do get games to play. Installing and unzipping files is the low limit of this semi open OS, which for an android chip it’s honestly not shabby. Unreal engine game mods on 2D emulator games is very nice. The Quest 3 is very decent.
Next time show them what skybox can do......and you can bring it up just as better

I was recording thru the quest but it cut out a few times so next time I'll record externally, although the quest mic sounds pretty good.

I have a Meta quest 2 - 3 and Apple Vision pro and it's not even close. It's cool, but not in the same league. The apple vision pro has replaced my tv unless i have company over. You have to use it for more than the 30-minute demo that's for sure. NO hate on Meta Quest, but people who don't have access to both have no idea.

Not for the average consumer, not yet, but for tech geeks like me it’s unbelievable. I can’t imagine not having access to this after using it every day for the last two weeks. As intuitive as it is, there was still a learning curve and now I’ve gotten so good that I don’t even have to think about a lot of things. It’s more like magic than it was day one. I am typing this message from within Apple Vision Pro right now. I am it I’m addicted. @@KedrickFoster
$3000 difference is huge and is a major barrier for most people. A LOT less people will buy it which means less developers will create cool apps for it.

My Chevy Spark is also better than a Lambo, because it is 7x cheaper. It does all the same stuff too, plus I can pair my phone to the bluetooth in the Chevy Spark as well. Take that Lambo.

You do know their is software on the Quest 3 to have multiple windows open at the same time more than the standard 3 windows so the window problem ain't really a problem if you find the right apps and the apple vision Pro's pass through isn't as bright but its much sharper and I prefer the Mixed Reality games on the vison pro rather than just floating screens as their is atleast 50 apps that allow you to have multiple screens and their also is alot of exciting Mixed Reality games like Zombies the cabin Air Hockey, table tennis, boxing etc all in Mixed Reality and everything on the Vision Pro just looks boring 😴 and I also have the PSVR2 and for VR games its the best at the moment in terms of immersion the best headset bro I am addicted to GT7 and Synapse on the Playstation VR2 and the Mixed Reality games on the Quest 3 are awesome also
I’m not a gamer so the quest 3 is useless. It’s a glorified Wii strapped to your face trying to do anything else is A TERRIBLE overly complicated experience.
Yeah I believe the app your talking about is called immersed. I really need to dive into some of the mixed reality games since I haven't tried any other than first encounter which is really good.
@@KedrickFoster it’s more work setting it up than it’s worth they just need the base ui to work like that, not a third party app. They’re rumored to be doing an entire ui overhaul

The graphics look pretty terrible on the Meta Quest compared to Apple Vision Pro.. it's not even in the same league. For most people it is NOT worth 7x the price, that's VERY true. But if you want the ****BEST EVER BY FAR***** 3d movie watching experience, save your money and treat yourself to an Apple Vision Pro, if you can afford it. You're worth it.

Apple Vision or this one... call me old, but I would never ever put one of those on my head and do stuff, or watch stuff... I am claustrophobic 😐 and brokeophobic 😑But, if I did have the money, I rather get me a nice PC built instead!

Meta better than Vision? Where’s the video of you using it. Want games by Meta. If you want a media and light computing beast get Vision. Btw the multi windows in Vision can be placed through our your home and stays where you put them
I dont believe I said it was better,I said the vision is just lacking the experiences you have on the quest. I'm pretty sure the Vision is a better device, it better be for 7 times the price. I'm also aware you can place the windows anywhere on the vision pro, I mentioned that in the video. Appreciate you watching!

The only so called lacking of experience is games and it was never advertised as a gaming platform. And I only mentioned window placements because you made a point of you can do it with the Meta. It’s no comparison.
@@whodatguy8213 did you actually watch the video? If you did you would have heard me say Apple has a better made device but is lacking in a lot of areas when it comes to software. Hopefully they catch up soon because I know the device itself is better of course.

BFFR. The passthrough on the Meta Quest 3 is so bad I thought I had a defective device. The quality is the same as a 2006 flip phone.
