Why should I be the first one to do xyz?” This is a flawed way of thinking and can quickly turn toxic. You need to look at your relationship like a competition instead. A competition of who can show the most amount of love. Just love without expecting anything in return, trust me. I hope it’s helpful to you and I hope everything works out. Normal relationships require a lot of trust but long distance ones require twice as much.
