In life, unfortunately when things get the hardest we can't just wimp out and do nothing. You are a prime example of what one has to do when you really don't have much of a choice and I admire that about you. I learned that also when my husband suddenly passed away and I still had to finish a new house build that was only about 60% done. I had a choice of getting it finished or curling up into a ball and still having a house not finished. You do what you gotta do when you gotta do it even if it means doing it alone. Congratulations again with your new house!!! I'm looking forward to seeing how you decorate each room!!! 💕😊

For anyone who has to move: use boxes from *Home Depot* that have the hanger bar that goes inside the box. Easy transfer of clothes from closet to box without having to remove clothes from hangers.

The shoe rack I believe is from IKEA. So nice the kids are adapting to the move, hopefully they meet plenty of new friends. I know you had to be exhausted from packing and unpacking. You rock girl.
I went through a divorce 13 yrs ago...can't believe it's been that long. My kids were 6,7 and 9. My ex pretty much left the state and I did all the work with selling the house and cleaning it out. There were many times that I sat there and cried for what I was leaving behind, but I had to move on and give my kids a better life. My kids are now 22, 20 and 18. They have all had their ups and downs, including me, but we are still going strong. I had to move in with my parents in between my marital house and the house I'm in now. I know there were days when I didn't think I could move on... but I'm here to tell you... it's possible. Good luck with everything and I can't wait to see more videos.

When your back is against the wall, you really have no choice but to push through for your kids and do whatever’s necessary but I hope you can get out of your fight or flight mode and really truly breath, relax and enjoy the freedom and fresh start you’ve created for yourself and your family. When I was a little girl I lived with my grandma and she let me have the basement to have as a room,I had so much fun by myself and had a piano and a place for my dolls and I had no-one bothering me ,my brother had to sleep upstairs ! I feel good that you and Kyle are taking it day by day but still friends ,my dad and mom did the same ,And we were happy cause my mom like you made us kids be ok and I love you for taking care of them as a single mom,My mom always had my grandparents to help us and we were loved and safe and warm and everything was good,I love you for showing that your children deserve that and I wish you peace and happiness .
Well girl, you have proven that you are a strong person, when I was your age I helped a friend move and we actually pulled a refrigerator on a tail gate of a pickup on a cart down the street to get new place, amazing what we can do, I'm proud of you, if I was closer I would have helped you, great house Em.👍

I think its a good time to set up a cleaning list/chore list for the kids. They have lists on Google that go according to age appropriate chores. This will benefit you greatly. Especially as things get busier in their lives and yours. Start now. 👍☺ You won't regret it.
Awesome video, the house looks so so good, it is really cozy. The new rugs in the boys rooms are so cute. I remember a quick move when my kids were small and those black trashbags were a gift and a curse. LoL I labeled them so I knew what and where everything went but, like you said, it was a messy project.
