Haven’t even watched the whole video but seeing all you are getting rid of makes me proud of you! It is overwhelming mentally for the kids to own so much crap and you are doing something so important for them!
Before I got my new washer and dryer I had a smaller portable washer and had to break out laundry basket into 3 loads I did laundry all the time and hated it! Now I can fit like a hamper and half in my huge washer I don’t but I could. We all have a hamper in our rooms. Hubby and I share obviously, each kid has a hamper. The only mixed hamper is our bathroom hamper. But when I pulled the kids laundry I pull the bathroom laundry sort it into theirs and just leave the towels in the bathroom one. I then do the laundry. That way the kids clothes is all together and easier to out away! Also all my kids out their laundry away. The only one who struggled sometimes is my 5 almost 6 year old. Also we have a super easy system. My daughters pants and shorts go in her closet shelves and she hangs shirts, my oldest all go in his closet, he has a cubicle for pants and hangs the rest, my youngest has clear labeled drawers on his dresser :)
I think you have a good amount of stuff in your house. And the easiest way to keep it minimal is to be intentional about what you buy or bring into the home and take inventory. Its harder with younger kids but we eventually learn this lesson.
I have a lot less stuff but I'm also in a 1008sq ft house with basement. I think as long as it feels comfortable to you and you can keep up with it, it's fine. I have friends who love having so much decor it makes me feel claustrophobic. But it's not my house and it makes the people I love happy, so enjoy. In my small house, things can get way too out of control in no time if I'm not minimal.
Me and my husband are obsessed with crumbl cookie. Honestly it’s so hard to pick a favorite because they are all so delicious 😋 Also, I just bought that Terani caramel sauce for my coffee and funnel cakes I made the other day and I love it. It’s better than the Hersheys caramel one.
When donating things I have thought about donating items to a women’s shelter for kids, moms and single women as far as clothes and hygiene products, toys, etc. I feel calling them each time to see what is needed there is the most useful. 🌸🙂
I always say I need to get rid of things in my outside storage and even in my hallway closet and for some reason I just can’t 😭😭 but hopefully I get some motivation from watching the rest of your videos 🙏🏼

I have 4 kids, and now 7 grands 🥰 still have 6 people, different configuration, in the home. I feel like you have a *lot* of stuff, but you also have a *lot* of storage spaces which can encourage that. I have exactly 3.5 drawers in the kitchen 😣😣 which is ridiculous in a bigger home.

Absolutely brilliant video. There is nothing better than a big declutter. I am a minimalist and I wouldn't have it any other way. I still had to do a declutter last week, after we finished all the work we had McDonald's haha, that's how we celebrate. You don't have heaps of stuff in your house, at least I don't think so. When kids are little there is always toys, my son is 16 now so it is gaming and there will always be lego haha, but there are so many awesome Lego's. Have an awesome day.

I also wanted to ask where you got your diffuser in your kitchen, and how do you handle getting rid of your kids stuff like do they have little meltdown when they find out it’s gone? My laundry system is easy and I don't have any issues with it. I wash husbands stuff separately than the boys and I . We don't have a lot of clothes so I wash a load when I have one so we have stuff to wear.
To answer your question, your house is so big, that it doesn't seem like you have a ton of stuff. So for your space, it seems like an average amount. But then I see all the trash bags of things you are getting rid of and it seems like a ton 😅 I LOVE decluttering videos, so thanks for posting this one, it was very satisfying!

I feel like for someone with 4 kids you don't have a lot of stuff. I would suggest since it's just you now, perhaps you concentrate more on the things you and the kids really love and declutter extra or non favorite things. It will make your life less stressful. Sending you strength.

Last week was twice now that I've had a big declutter pile and they've only picked up part of it and left half the pile just sitting there 😒 Thank you for these videos though, they give me so much motivation! Light and fit at Walmart has protein yogurt smoothies that taste just like the danimals but they are better for you and each one is twice as big as a danimal.
I think considering you have 4 kids it’s a average amount I started from last year telling family to get a small gift and the rest in money for their bank accounts cuz otherwise they get so many toys that after 6-12 months they don’t play with cuz they then get new things again and it was just way to much for a 200 sqaure metre small home so that’s what they do now the older boys love taking the money to the bank and putting in there account and mister 4 is getting into now to . Laundry is hard I try to do two loads a days then on the same day put away the loads from the day before so it doesn’t back up but that doesn’t always happen haha
You have ALOT of stuff if your comparing to a minimalist! But I will say, it doesn't look that cluttered when it's all cleaned up! My advice to staying minimal is to second, third and fourth guess every un-essential purchase. Or write down your wants and in 1 or 2 weeks come back to it and see if it's still a want item.
When you have kids it’s hard to not have lots of stuff… as they grow the toys lessen, your stuff changes… until they are out of the nest you will have a lot of stuff, then when they leave you get new stuff…😂

You have kids of all ages and both genders so your going to have a lot and the younger they are the bigger the toys. That being said we didn’t have a lot of money so our kids didn’t have all the motorized cars and vehicles. Every year when I put the next seasons clothes out I used to make my kids help me go through their stuff. The rule was keep one give one. My children are grown so my husband and I have downsized for retirement and relocation. I only have the minimum of things that have meaning or bring joy. The rest went. 🤷🏼♀️. Your doing great though. Watch what they play with and what just gets tossed around. Then ditch those things. Out of sight out of mind. I was single Mom for a short time when my children were little. It’s no joke. 🤪
I do not think you have a lot. As you know, the little kid toys take up a lot of space. Girl, embrace this time! They grow so fast! I have a 12, 9, and almost 4 year old with twins on the way. Yes, God has a sense of humor!!! My older two have no interest in toys. They like NERF guns, gaming systems, sports and out door things. I am totally rearranged, cleaning, and painting as I go. It is so hard for me to get rid of things because I know I am going to go through this season again, and I can't stand to have to repurchase things that are in still really good condition....I have invested in a storage shed....It also helps me with passing on the memories!

Totally depends! Usually just do a kitchen clean up of 30ish mins every night but some times especially when I’m filming and it’s hours and it’s 1am😅

You have kids of all ages and both genders so your going to have a lot and the younger they are the bigger the toys. That being said we didn’t have a lot of money so our kids didn’t have all the motorized cars and vehicles. Every year when I put the next seasons clothes out I used to make my kids help me go through their stuff. The rule was keep one give one. My children are grown so my husband and I have downsized for retirement and relocation. I only have the minimum of things that have meaning or bring joy. The rest went. 🤷🏼♀️. Your doing great though. Watch what they play with and what just gets tossed around. Then ditch those things. Out of sight out of mind. I was single Mom for a short time when my children were little. It’s no joke. 🤪

I do not think you have a lot. As you know, the little kid toys take up a lot of space. Girl, embrace this time! They grow so fast! I have a 12, 9, and almost 4 year old with twins on the way. Yes, God has a sense of humor!!! My older two have no interest in toys. They like NERF guns, gaming systems, sports and out door things. I am totally rearranged, cleaning, and painting as I go. It is so hard for me to get rid of things because I know I am going to go through this season again, and I can't stand to have to repurchase things that are in still really good condition....I have invested in a storage shed....It also helps me with passing on the memories!
