In the park where this house was located there were lots of other houses as well. But they are each purposed for their own needs, which is not all the same. Ukraine used it to inform about the war for example. Other countries use it more like we did in the beginning as a place for all the family, friends, crew and sponsors to hang out. I think The Netherlands has just enough medal winners to assure enough evenings with medal winners being honored and it not getting boring. USA would probably have too many medal winners to fit this format. Besides that, we like to party (there are bands/dj's playing every evening regardless) and just have a place to hang out with fans and watch the sports (Dutch athletes in particular of course) if you don't have tickets for any events that day. A bit of a festival vibe you could say, but for sports. I've been to 3 Olympics now and it really enhances the experience for me.
