Your shawl is fantabulous 😍, I love it. I wish you were my neighbour and could teach me to crochet properly. The yarn looks perfect for a shawl pattern like that. I'd struggle now I need a thicker yarn and hook, because of my hands. I'm struggling on a 5mm. I need to do my hand exercises!! Anyway, I like the black blanket. I want some of that yarn to make a moon and star pillow for grandchildren. My son in law belongs to a motorcycle club, for serving and ex service men. They do lots of charity stuff. Their colours are green and gold. I've rambled on. I'll go make a brew. It's a beautiful chilly Sunday. Have a blessed day and week, be safe all the usual from my home to yours 🤗🐕🙏🧶💐💛👍
Thank you Barbara! You ramble on all you want! Yes most motorcycle clubs do wonderful charity work, and many don’t know it! I wish I was your neighbor too, I want to live in the UK!! 🥰. Hugs and loves my friend 💚🤗
So glad your grandbaby loved the Afghan.
Lovely shawl.
It's been cold here, raining today. Tennessee has crazy extra winters.
Hi Amoreena. Oh I love TN. Looking to move up that way in a few years... stay warm! 💜🤗
Good morning!! Loved your projects. I have not tried the Bernat blanket yarn and I probably won't, I have felt it and I really don't like the feel of it lol. That shawl you are making is beautiful. I am working on a shawl by the crochet crowd and a inline granny stitch queen size blanket. Hugs and loves my dear friend. Toodles for now.
Hi Theresa! The blanket yarn does have a feel that I could imagine would bother some. Great projects you’re doing! Oh a queen sized blanket, yay I’m mot alone! 😉. Huge hugs and love my wonderful friend 💚🤗
Your shawl is looking really lovely and I like the colours too can't wait to see it when your finished ...bet you can't either lol . Have a good weekend x
Good morning my friend! Yes I am excited to complete the shawl! Hope you have an amazing weekend my friend 💜🤗
I have the SisLove Shawl pattern but have been feeling intimidated about following a chart only... but yours is looking so good, I may have to just do it! I have yarn for it already. LOL.
You can do it!! One thing I do when something feels intimidating, I forget about all the instructions going on around me, and I totally just focus on the one step I need to do at that very moment. I felt similar when I printed the pattern up, but as I worked it, it started moving nicely. If you need any help lmk!! Can’t wait to see your wip soon!! Hugs 🤗💚
It looks intimidating at first but it really isn't. Once you start doing it I think you should enjoy it. It's such a wonderful pattern and it works up so beautiful. Like Tammy said just watch the repeats and you will have it. It has enough explanation when some of the rows change that helps. I love having a chart with a written pattern but I wasn't sure I could do the whole thing just by the charts. I really had no problem at all.
@@AYarnAddictwithKaren Right!? It’s so beautiful and fun to work on, did you finish the pattern Karen?
@@TwistedStitchesShow Thanks for the encouragement. I've done some detailed shawls (knit and crochet) but never with chart only. The toughest was Lost in Time by Mijo Crochet (which I've done 4 of them now). You've convinced me to up my level of experience! Thanks! I even have a few cakes of Twister to choose from!
@@AYarnAddictwithKaren Thanks for the encouragement!
Such a beautiful shawl you are making and colors are stunning
Thank you Lydia. 💛🤗
I love half moon shawls. They're so beautiful. I made one loved it and working on my second. 😘🤗🌸🧶thank you for sharing

Wow, your shawl is looking gorgeous.👍🧶🤗
Thank you Wendy! Hugs my friend 💚🤗
The sister shawl is stunning just not sure about a graph..
That is a nice hat!
I'm a very busy crocheting bee!
I think maybe give the SisLove shawl a go! If you need help I could give some tips, thanks so much my friend... what busy crocheting have you been up to?
@@TwistedStitchesShow you're so sweet!
I'm working on my Freedom top, 4 blankets, Wild texture shawl, cardigan, and my Liberty shawl.
I'm hoping to have a couple of these done this weekend.
@@godrocks2107 yup busy, busy 🐝. I would love to see them! 💛
Oh I didn't know you are in Florida. I live in north east florida. That's pretty cool 😎
Hi Lacy, I live central west coast! (So you’re up near Jacksonville? I’m north of Clearwater.
@@TwistedStitchesShow yes! I'm in Jacksonville actually. I am so happy to have been seeing more and more Floridians dabbling in yarn arts. It might be hot as hell fire down here, but we gat a few cold days in the winter. I'm trying to collect some pretty plant fiber yarns too but I like hand dyed yarn so ... I am saving up some money first. So cool to know you are pretty close.
Your shawl is beautiful! It makes you feel so good when you know that the person receiving the handmade item loves it as much as you do.
I truly does, thank you so much Kristy, have an amazing weekend my friend 💚🤗
@@TwistedStitchesShow i hope you have an amazing weekend as well my friend! 🥰
Your shawl is truly beautiful. Can't wait to see it finished. Thanks for sharing everything with us.
Thank you Carleta. 💚🤗
The blanket is going to be so pretty! Your shawl is working up gorgeous ❣️ I did it last summer with Reggie and I loved doing it. Mine was done with a Hobbii cake, the 100 percent cotton. It's the Twister, I think, or it was a Twirls. I love mine. Love, hugs and prayers ❣️
Hi Karen, oh the “Twister/or Twirls” yarn is so nice! I need to take a look at yours, I can’t remember if I’ve seen a picture? Yes I love making this shawl. Huge hugs and love to you my friend 💛🤗
Your shawl is gorgeous. Can't wait to see it finished. I can read patterns but have never tried to crochet using a chart.
Hi Karen, I hope that you’ll give this one a try, it’s a wonderful pattern. 🤗💚
So sweet to see little one enjoying the blanket. The shawl is going to be beautiful!! 🧶💕🧶.
Thank you Evelyn! 💚🤗
That’s a beautiful shawl Tammie. Can’t wait to see it when you have finished it. Have a great day!🧶😊
Thank you Karla, you have an amazing week my friend 🤗💚
The shawl is exquisite! I love the colirway you chose. Glad you got your camera under control, Blessings
Thank you Samantha! I had to tighten up everything on my tripod, it was all loose! Lol 💛🤗
Love how the Sislove shawl is coming along! The colors in this yarn are GORGEOUS!!!
Thank you, I love working on this shawl. I keep on wanting to see how it looks with “just another row!” 💜🤗
@@TwistedStitchesShow yup, I get that 😂 I'm working on my 2nd one already

Thank you Darla! 💜🤗
Tammie, that SisLove Shawl is beautiful. I've had it in my list of projects to make for about 2 years. 🙈 I can't wait to see the black blanket that you're working on with the blanket yarn. Thanks for sharing. 💜
Oh, give the shawl a go, it gets sooo addicting! I will showcase the blanket yarn blanket when it's complete for sure... Right now its just kinda plain, but it's working up nicely.... Thanks for the love my friend! 💛
@@TwistedStitchesShow You're welcome. 💜💕

Thank you Monica, you as well my friend 💚🤗
The shawl is coming out beautifully. Love the colors!
Thank you Sigal💗🤗
Shawl will be so pretty when you get it done! I have been making baby hats and stuff. Not much longer and I will be a great aunt!
Thank you Amy, oh wow congrats great aunty!! 💞😍
Such a beautiful shawl. I love how there are so many different rows. I’m going to add the pattern to my raverly acct. for a future WIP.
That is awesome, yes it keeps my interest peaked the whole time I’m making it! I think you’ll enjoy the process! 💚🤗
My name is Laurie from “Cloudy Nook crochet” and I’m new to the crochet community. I enjoy watching your channel. Looking forward to meeting people with the same passion of crocheting like me.
Omg I really want to make the sis love half circle shawl, do they have a tutorial on this idk how to read patterns too good.
Hi JoAnn, no there isn’t a tutorial, but the pattern is completely charts, which is a bit easier especially if you find written patterns a bit confusing… that’s how I learned to read patterns, using written and charts (yarnspiration patterns are pretty good for this). Hope you’ll give it a try, it is a free download! Lmk if I can help in any way… 🤗💚
I actually prefer chart patterns. That's how I started crocheting ages ago. All the mumble jumble of words confuses me, especially where each designer has their own "language" system going on, and you need to spend quite a long time "translating" the written words into a pattern. For me, that is very exhausting. With a chart, there's less room for error.
I have discovered via this pattern (which did terrify me at first) that there isn’t a time where I felt that I didn’t know what was needed to do, and where a stitch is supposed to go. I am finding that a chart pattern is way easier too. 💕
I went to get pattern, but when I saw it was a chart, I said no thanks.
Oh some people don’t like charts, it is very easy to follow, and if you decide to give it a try I’d be happy to help via email, messenger, etc. have a great week Charlene! 💚
Why dont you do tutorials? I can't read that symbolic pattern. Where is the written pattern....
Hi carolwallace2
This isn’t my pattern, and it was written as a symbol only pattern. I cannot take someone else work and make a tutorial without their consent.
Places like Yarnspirations have many written/chart patterns on their site… often there is a YT tutorial that goes along with it. That is how I learned how to understand chart patterns… hope this helps
Thanks for your response. I understand what you mean
