Great Video and so much to unpack that I am sure you are going to expand about in future videos. I cannot recommend enough the value of building in some transition time. Some down time...some slow time. The time we spent in our little Mexican beach town let us clear our minds to make space for new ideas and new possibilities. It gave us time and distance to look back on how we had chosen to live all those decades and that maybe there is a better way going forward.
So appreciate the reminder to think BIG, Kris. I've found as I contemplate what retirement looks like, my default stance has been a scarcity mindset (plentiful but limited resources once I tap the retirement accounts). I instead need to stay in the abundant mindset which will lead to so many new resources and opportunities and adventures. Can't wait to see what you have to share with us next.
We are about the same age and although I didn’t retire early… I quit😳 after 31 years at the same company. I think I can learn a lot from you and this channel! You are so well spoken. My full story is yet to be told, but that's for another video! I love finding people like you that I can relate to here as well as people I may not have the chance to run into "in real life" and to hear different voices and perspectives. The best of both worlds.
