I made a custom driveshaft with a front half shaft / cv axle from a Chevy truck. I had to cut, shorten, turn, and weld it. Had to try several cv boots so it didn't get messed up at high rpms. Cheap boots made it lump to one side like a unbalanced washing machine
Your vid really helped me u might already know when it comes on the light board the factory puts restrictions in the intake and exhaust to make The opening smaller for less air flow need to take them out to open it up thanks again for the vid
Just tried removing the air cleaner and looked in the intake and didn't see anything. Tried driving it around and no real change in the butt Dyno. So just a FYI!
It was a opposed Briggs, 18hp. This particular one is a dog, very low power. It's a 6ld260 so like 4.5hp. The larger bore 6ld engines would be better. A 400 or 435 would have been better. Serves it's purpose as a trailer mover or show putter though.
Hey ad Onions!!! Good Video!!! Before I start my Lombardinis, I need to make sure that the fuel valves are not stuck wide opened.... Thanks for the info, Ur thoughts, watching, and commenting!!
How did you connect it to your drive shaft

Huh no I didn't know that. The thing is a dog at the moment so I'll see if that's still there. Maybe that'll light it up some.

Mine had a metal plate that was the same size as the gasket but mad the hole smaller if I get a chance I'll send a pic of them
very nice info, thanks for sharing.
How do you find the 6ld compares to the engine that was in that cub? Assuming it was either a diesel of a kohler?
