It's nice to get away of using so many baggies and they are kid friendly you make it so simple even adu;ts will like them with all the fun fabric that is out their. Can't wait to see what other projects you have. I like it because you can finish them quick. Thank You Vanessa
Me encantó!!!
Going to make these for my girls birthday party coming up next month. Going to make them out of emoji fabric and give them away to the guests. I think they would love them and so easy to make. Thank you for another great idea.
simple and awesome at the same time!! I'm a so-so beginner in the field, and I'm definitely gonna a try this!!! thank you so much for the brilliant tutorial!!
you should add laminate vinyl to this and make it a food pouch you could use for kids snacks too and wipe clean easily for snacks like cookies and snack mixes that have crumbs :) great ideas! i love your simple tutorials
Hi Vanessa! Love these little baggies! I put pretzels, nuts, raisins, carrots, really anything! Everything has always stayed really fresh because it is pretty well closed and tight. Then you just wash them and they are fine! And btw I think you look beautiful as always! Thank you for your tutorials! ~Amy~
Thank you so much for this easy pattern! I made a few already to give to quilting friends, because I made one for me and store my wonderclips in it! This is also great for hairpins or other small stuff everybody seems to get lost around the house. Great tutorial!!!!
I have a lot of scraps that are left over from making pillowcases. I cut them to 12.5 x 7 inches each and sew 2 together to make the snack bags. Great use for those scraps that are too big to throw away and too small to make much of. Thanks Vanessa!
This is my favorite tutorial of all so far. Thank you!!!! I watched it about ten times already. I can't seem to remember all the steps when I'm making them.
Love this tutorial! These would be good for simple wet bags, too! All you'd need to do is add a waterproof lining between the lining fabric and the outside fabrics. Yup, trying this out tomorrow
Awesome tutorial. You make it so easy to make these. :) I can't wait to make some with sea creature fabric as a reminder to keep plastic out of our oceans
I love this idea. I just made my first one, but instead of layer cake squares I cut yardage and didn't do the 3" part. I just cut it all in one piece. I think for fun I would rather use two different designs for at least for the outside. I have a large family, so I will be making plenty of these. So quick and easy.
Made 2 snack bags in about 15 mins. Used left over fabric from another project and the pieces just happen to be 7 inches wide already. Worked out great. Wish I knew how to post pics on here.
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing. I need to make snack pouches (and sandwich pouches) for our kids. Reduce our use of plastic and paper bags. Julia xx
I just found you, this being the first video I’ve seen. These are so cute, I just have to try making one. You’re so cute and I love your voice. I’m your new subscriber!!
I Love this tutorial. This would be good for simple wet bags. A quilt video you squared it up with borders on. Thank you, your videos are great. Thanks-----
Awesome. How can we make the waterproof. Like to take along in a boat or something. Or so if a drink get's spilled on it. Love the tutorial. So easy. Thanks for sharing.
Can this be made with a handy handle for a larger pouch have you done it. I would like to make me a snack bag so I can carry a larger amount of snacks for me and others. On a trip. You are so Good thanks for sharing this.Nancy
These look great Vanessa (I may use pul (think its spelt that way) as it would make them waterproof, could I ask, do u have a tutorial for your little table top ironing board? Thanks x
Hi could you make a how to square up a quilt with no borders because I am following your modern quilt along series and I don't know how to square up the quilt and you how to square up a quilt video you squared it up with borders on. Thank you, your videos are great.
Do you have written instruction for the tutorials as well? I do not have internet access in my sewing room so watching the video while sewing isn't always an option. I will try to write my own from the video but thought it'd be nice to have them for other projects too. Thanks.
+Whitney Sews A few years ago, I bought sandwich and snack bags on Etsy that are lined with PUL and velcro closures. They work well at keeping the food fresh and secure. They aren't waterproof, which is what I'd like to find a solution for, perhaps a light-weight vinyl.
How has anyone being able to sew the closures though that bulk of material? No matter what I’ve tried, it always gets suck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I’m trying to make some for the granddaughters for Christmas.

hi.... thank you for sharing... i,m going to have a go at these xxx
Super tolles Video, lieben Dank dafür werde gleich eins nähen. Liebe Grüße Pia
This was sooo simple to make on a Saturday morning! Going to use this every day for school.. only question, how do I wash it?
Thank for this easy tutorial video. I see that you didn’t use pul fabric. Is it really necessary to use pul for food? Or for easy clean up as well? 🙂
clever and simple no zippers and velcro they only ruin materials
These look great Vanessa (I may use pul (think its spelt that way) as it would make them waterproof, could I ask, do u have a tutorial for your little table top ironing board? Thanks x
It is amazing how complicated this was made just to make a simple pouch!
I love your shirt. Can you make a tutorial on how to make one for us. Thank you so much and blessings.

Eu gostei muito!
O liked very much
Awsome!!!❤️
Thanks for this. I made it. 😀
what kinda of snacks do you put in there that don't ruin the inside fabric?
you could laminate the lining fabric
your hair looks soon cute!!
I need a bigger size. But these so cute.
I always wonder what kind of snacks people put in these that doesn't stain the fabric and stays fresh even though the bag isn't airtight.
+Whitney Sews I imagine dry snacks that will only stay in the bag fro several hours. Using washable fabric also helps, or use a plastic liner.
+Whitney Sews I was literally going to post this comment! I try to be as green and as eco friendly as I can be but I can't imagine a sandwich in this.
I put goldfish in mine my kids love them and I also put cookies in them too.
+Whitney Sews I would use clear vinyl that can be purchased at various fabric shops so I could do a quick swipe inside. No fabric inside for me.

How can I sew the same one with snaps and side tab thank you
How has anyone being able to sew the closures though that bulk of material? No matter what I’ve tried, it always gets suck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I’m trying to make some for the granddaughters for Christmas.
What kind of fabric did you used? Is that just a cotton fabric? Thank youn
could you make one for fruit snacks or what material would you recommend?
👍♥️♥️♥️Thank you
Great tutorial! Could you please give me measurements that I would use to make reusable sandwich bags . Thank you
How do you keep the seam for the closure from getting too bulky? Aren;t you basically sewing on top of another seam?
Agreed. I’m struggling
Can you use vinyl for the liner?
have you ever shown us how to make the microwave potato bag?
What type of sewing machine you are using?
Is it legal to make a bunch of these and sell them?
+Yesenia Castillo Absolutely! I teach you the skills and then you can make all the money you want from your handmade projects. Enjoy!
❤🎉
👏👏👏😍
Forgot to say I would send a photo but I don't know how.
Is it just me or does it seem that that cordless iron doesn't get very hot?
seems a little complicated, a lot of steps.
You hv put on a lot of weight
