They are powerful motors. If you look up the bore and stroke you will be surprised how large the engine is for being a 15 . I use to own a force 15 and I can honestly say it is on par with my merc 20
Chrysler made the Force outboards from 1980-1988. 1989 and later they were made by Mercury. Those Sears Gamfisher outboards were just rebranded Force outboards. They are not a clone.
@@kyledevries4423 one 10 hp, and one 25 hp. The last one was the worst of them! Now i still have a 20 hp merc and two 25 hp mercs, these engines are much much better. Also have a 50 merc 4 stroke but not really a fan of this motor either🙈
@@pasma1983 This 15hp was my first force and as I worked on it, I realized that the engine design was so simple that there isn't really a whole lot to go wrong on them. I think it's their larger outboards that give force their bad reputation.
That’s a nice looking motor
Hello where can I find parts for that I have the same one
that really sounds like a 15hp johnson/evinrude (if you show under the hood next time id be awesome)
I'm looking for a new water pump for this exact motor. Any idea where I can find one?
If it’s the same model it’s a 86 is what mine is… I forgot where I orders the part from but I remember getting the fuel pump diaphragm from o reilys
Slides good. You definitely need to listen to your friend Seth more
Looks like it runs good! I’d love to know what speed you are going and compare it with the other motors you run.
It hit 20mph, which is right what the Evinrude/Johnson's run on this boat. I was shocked.

Who made these? Looks like a Sears Gamefisher clone from that era.

@@kyledevries4423 well give it some time, you will be disappointed(hope not).
But man, that mercs run so much better, that 25 hp you should keep
