    I love Orchids. They have the most beautiful blooms. Your Dendrobium Thyrsiflorum Orchid's blooms are gorgeous Erica. How many times a year does that one bloom? I had one that bloomed 3 times a year. Thanks for the time lapse. Blessings and Happy Growing to you too!

      From Mrs Abbie I think that was the second time. Wow. 3 times? That’s awesome. I just repotted the orchid. I hope that doesn’t set it back. Thanks for watching. 💚Erica

    I have one that has bumps now. Very informative video, nice time lapse! Did you eliminate watering this orchid during the winter months? I reduced watering , not eliminated. Hope it goes all the way. Thanks

      We do the same. We still water in the winter just less. ☺️💚🌱

    Hello Erica, wonderful plant and the video in a timelapse is great.
    Could you please tell me what the plant in the corer of your windosill is. I mean this one with the light blue blooms. I have a variety of plants myself and I am quite good in identifying but I can't recall having seen this before. Thanks, Anna

      Hello Anna. senecio articulatus variegata is in the corner. But I don’t have anything there with light blue blooms. Thanks for watching. 💚Erica

      @@bloomingbotanist9263 What? I hardly can believe it as I have this plant. It is very small yet. So what is growing on it are leaves? It looked like flowers to me.

    • @bloomingbotanist9263
      @bloomingbotanist9263 5 лет назад +1

      Yes the senecio has leaves. It does have some pink and white since it’s the variegated variety. Mine had never bloomed. But if it does they are white. They look like the blooms that the string or pearl had. That’s a senecio as well.

      @@bloomingbotanist9263 Again "what"? I googled it -> Senecio rowleyanus, I always thougt it is a peperonium. I am amazed by your knowlegde. Chapeau!

      I'm somehow ashamed as I was in a very exclusive shop here in Vienna/Austria/Europe and the string of pearls was really labelled with Senecio. My strng of pearls is quite huge and already very old and it also is often blooming but i never ever would have thought it in the same species as the "long" version.

    What is the potting medium for this orchid?

      Ernestina Cruz hi. I bought it on bark. Now it’s planted in leca (clay balls).
