this is too cool of a discovery! and also the fact it's in an area that would be pretty much dismissed when dealing with a reverse apply issue. Great job!
Literally having this same issue. R stalls, neutral becomes first gear only, and d/D works as intended. Park stays park, maybe a symptom of going check ways? I replaces main solenoid on valvebody 5l6 mo ago but not the solenoid/coils on side
Did not show the bad servo that you needed to replace. It would be helpful. Besides that. Great Video. P.S. Some of us do not always have the time or fortitude to put the trans on a bench. We fix them on the truck. Basically we need them for working
Hey I have Gmc suburban 2000 , the truck does not move in any gear , in other word , when I’m shift gear to D,R,3,2,1 the truck does not move ? I check OBD2 tell me code P0650 Only this code, Please need help.
I am sorry but I can't do diagnosing over the internet. My channel is for transmission professionals. This will get too intense really fast. I just don't have the time. Beyond making sure there is nothing wrong with the filter, and there is plenty of fluid I can not be of assistance. Sorry
The fix is in the description! There's a second video. Thanks for watching. Look through the channel or use the search inside the channel for more 4L80, there's a few videos on this gift to humanity from gm..... Happy new year!
Richard Wardell thanks bud! Have a 94 Chevy 2500 with a 6.5 and 4l80. Only 140k on it but will want to do the repairs myself. Just starting my research and I’m thinking I’ll locate a newer core and have it ready to swap in
