This is my favorite track out of Burn Out, love the guitar work between Jackson and Dale on this one. There is a lot of little guitar work details spread throughout the song that can sometimes be missed if you don't listen closely. I tried my best to capture most of them.
I used my Silver Jubilee Reissue once again for this song as I feel its the closest I could get to the original track. I believe Jackson was using an old JMP at the time. Minimal post EQ as always, just a light compressor and noise gate. For the cab I used a Marshall 4x12 w/ Vintage 30's impulse response from Ownhammer.

Im pretty sure greg togawa wrote the riff for this song. I think he retired from touring but was still writing for Slick Shoes at the time
Greg did not join Slick Shoes until Wake Up Screaming. Jackson and Dale were still in the band during Burnout.

Jackson and his brother were playing guitar..their are only so many live videos of them on RUclips…their live album broadcasting live has the new way they play it…also Greg (the Asian that replaced Jackson) guests stars Alone. That would be one of my dreams to see that. I only got to see slick shoes with Greg and Dale back in 99. That was amazing but I’ve always wanted to see Jackson play live…def check it out asap I promise it will put a smile on your face :)
