STIHL KM 94 RC Easy Start Recoil Replace / Conversion

How to change Stihls ergostart / easy start recoil starter system back to the more traditional non spring assisted old school recoil on the Stihl KM94 RC Kombi engine.
This fix is not for everyone and is aimed at more advanced users who don't like this new recoil spring system.
Personally i actually find it so much easier to start now due to not having to pull so much rope out (less arm movement) and i find it far more consistent at starting.

Great video I am not sure I like the Stihl easy start system either. Did you buy your reach torx bit as part of set? All the cheap Amazon ones I have had do not last. Now that I am doing a lot more I want to invest some decent long reach hex and torx bits.

Cheers, I got torx bits on eBay I think. Stay away from the cheap sets made of cheese 😂.
