OK... this was about the last thing I was expecting when it started. I've never had my jaw hit the floor as quickly as it just did. I had to watch this video 4 times before I could compose this post.
This is perhaps the first woman I have seen play drums who doesn't hit like a girl. Call me sexist, but she's actually playing like a drummer.
Second of all, damn good skills. Going to be watching every video I can of her.
Third of all, I'm totally blown away by these cymbals. I really haven't heard these things demo poorly on any video. I need to audition them in person, but if they sound this good live, I'm selling off my now overpriced Sabian AAX and switching to Paiste 900.
Just absolutely blown away.
i made some comment few years ago on female bassist vid. i felt too that she played as a musician not a girl... that shitstorm that was made under my comment was just riddiculous. sometimes i think that people see music instead of listening to it, and i'm not talking about synesthesia right now...
and about Beata... afaik she's drummer teacher in one of polish universities so... yeah, she need to be skillful for this job ;p

Aside from the top view, no audience can even tell these cymbals have color. They're for the drummer to look at. Which is cool if you like color more than sound. When she steps on the hi-hat, it's inaudible unless she opens it. Clearly, the sounds are dampened by the coating. That's why everyone that demos these plays metal.

Do the colored paiste 900 sound like the paiste 900 non colored. I want to get the non colored ones but they are on back order. So I was looking into these ones.

It is a Polish band Wolf Spider, but with vocal it doesn't sound so good.
She is good but maybe if she had red shoes on it would sound even better? What more can be said than Paiste #1. Good video.
The normal Paiste 900 don't sound bad at all. But the coating/Color let the crashes sound horrible. For the rides and the hihats - ok, but the crashes sound like cheap brass cymbals.
Well, maybe not cheap brass cymbal level of badness, but that is pretty much how it is. I have had some great colorsound hihats and rides, but crashes all have been pretty bad. Good for live, to look nice, but I'm pretty sure no one uses colorsound crashes in the studio.
i actually like the 17" color sound crashes + rides, but hate the hihats & china cymbals.

Drums sound electronic, cymbals don’t sound good, probably because I’m a Zildjian guy
Slimjim Phantom - funny how paistes are known for being super consistent in sound over zildjian, and all but a select and ridiculously priced(which is saying alot coming from a paiste user, cuz pies r known to be big money) few zildjian are Only machine lathed and machine hammered. Yet paiste applies hand hammering even to the semi pro alpha line and there cymbals simply offer an incredible amount of different sounds-and if you break a cymbal you fall in love with-you can get pretty much the exact same sound buying a new one. I started off as a hardcore zildjian fan - and I still have a couple cymbals of theirs I occasionally use - the standouts for me being their OLD ASS cymbals and some of their discontinued cymbals like the Oriental series "Classic china" not the currently produced "China trash" cymbals. By far my favorite zildjian cymbal of all time. But I have to say I was reluctant to move to another brand for my main cymbals but now that I have - sorry to say (truly) zildjian does not make any cymbal sounds which paiste can't do better. Saluda cymbals are pretty amazing to and very well priced.
