Why do people get so annoyed when singers don't dance? It seems like these days if you're not flailing around like Mr.Tickle on crack then you're not worthy of having the stage.....
Yeah I think she's just a perfectionist when it comes to her voice and she doesn't want to make it sound worse by jumping around and whatnot. Also, I kind of think it adds to the feeling of their songs/her vox. Like it fits the atmosphere if that makes sense.
...to me it's not that she isn't dancing, she just has not presence. She's BORING. She just looks like an amateur.
...I dont disagree with you at all, which us exactly why an artist needs be engaging, especially when most of the music is prerecorded (not live), else I might as well just stay home and listen to the stereo.
For me personally, It's because I go to a show to see just that, a show. If I wanted to see a band stand there and do nothing, I would save my money and just listen to their album. Not saying their aren't amazing bands that don't move around on stage, cause there are tons. That's just me though
***** maybe for you it is, but not for me. That's why I said I was speaking strictly for myself. For me live shows are not strictly about the music, they are about the showmanship, and my favorite concerts have all been one's where the band's are great performers that get the crowd really involved. There really is nothing wrong about having an opinion on what I like in live music.

lauren is unique. I would like to see her dance but if she doesn't feel comfy with it, then that's up to her, shes an amazing singer, and also has a presence else the band wouldn't be where they are now. Very different imo and not comparable to certain bands others allude to.
