    Nice, thanks for making this. btw, at the end I think you can just use the RefreshAllTextures command to update the textures right?

    Thank Kyle, but I dont understand why need to import the crabuv (obj file) to fix the paint? we painted on mesh?

      the uv info is what tells the paint where to go on the mesh. If you want to move the mesh from one program to another, the uv info is what keeps it all organized correctly.

    Hi Kyle! I have following your videos and the Rhinoceros3d channel for while now and it has been very useful, thanks!
    I have a question in regards to the substance plug in for rhino, I downloaded some free materials from the substance webpage to try them out and the displacement is not working properly, it is offsetting the surfaces rather than the texture itself, any advice?

    If i make a group before export to substain... and then reimport to rhino... is more easy and faster???

    So this only exists in Rhino7 ? Custom mapping is unavailable in older versions?

      Custom mapping is available in older versions, but pbr materials are v7 only. This is a crucial component of the workflow.

      Actually it is.
      Once you have established the connection between substance and rhino, if you update the substance data, then re-save it with the same name, then run refreshtextures it in rhino they will update. So it’s more of a pseudo link than a direct live link, but it does give you some iterative flexibility.

      I am trying to assign "SetViewCaptureToFile" command as alias with width 1920 pixels and height 1080 pixel with perspective view.
