If you go to the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, you can tour the building which housed the control center. On your way to the control room there are display cabinets with all the Omega watches for the different launch missions. Very cool to see! Sorry guys--gave bad info in the chat--wanted to straighten it out. I had said that Omega started using the Delrin plastic chrono brake in 1975-76. Actually, I have learned they began using it in 1970. This watch had a Delrin brake--Kalle mentioned the plastic part in the video, and it is visible at the 1:09:30 mark of the video. Omega stated the part was more durable than the original metal part.
