Thanks so much Kalle for videos like this, it is really a treat to see and hear your explanation of the Valjoux 88. Valjoux has such a great history with chronograph movements, I get mad when folks throw shade on the 7750.

Very passionate video! It's understood. I've always been drawn to modern sport and dive watches, but I've realized that vintage has grabbed my heart and wallet. I want a Valjoux 88!

Always heard about the Valjoux 88 but never had a chance of seeing the movement innards, to make this when CAD/CAM didn’t exist must have made many machinists go to a asylum. The sear complexity of the movement had to be done by trials & errors, yet to do this in such an elegant package in those years is to be admired in every sense of the word 👌❤️👍🥰😍
Thanks Kalle for giving us the opportunity to see such a pristine example of this old classic 🤤😍👍
I’ve seen old pocket watches (size of a small orange) with about the same degree of complications but the case aloud space, but with this Valjoux the case is very small & thin 👌❤️😍👍🍨(with a cherry 🍒 on top) ! Simply incredible!

I'm a new member and Kalle is the You Tube genius who explains his every move in the simplest of terms; thank you. I've watches several videos and your live chat a couple times, but I have not seen the repairs being made nor the assembly of these watches you so meticulously disassemble. Am I just unable to find these?

Simply gorgeous on so many levels. Always that trade off between function complexity and reliability. More things to break and they're smaller to fit in the case. But just beautiful.

such a beautiful watch, I would much rather have this than a rolex and they are not super expensive (compared to equil quality modern watches. )

Ferrari doesn't always make the creme de la creme. This watch may be cool, but a Valjoux outside of a Haute Studio nor The Platform in Paris. I mean, you're going a bit far. Nevertheless, this thing is LOADED with complications and impressive, especially because it is continuous transmission for chronograph measure, not fingered.

While I share your enthusiasm for this watch, there is very little knowledge that you get across in this video. It is far too repetitive in many ways. I am even too bored to number them all. Get a grip on yourself.
