A+ for production value, but when contestants don’t know 70% of the answers it isn’t that fun to watch. I like the concept and would love to watch another one but you guys really need to test the questions before hand. Also the tight editing didn’t even leave any time to see them react to the actual answer, it felt like Linus was just stating facts for an hour.

You need to search for "University Challenge" - a UK quiz show for university students - if you really want to feel even more stupid.

@@streamsniperrty i think this and programming language category was relatively easy but they kinda over complicate stuff. Like C is a 'middling' language? I'd still call it pretty low level. maybe i am in the wrong here and i know its between assembly and python so middling but yeah, fun got sucked when no one knew the answers. plus we need at least someone to match the level of engagement of linus. most people were just sitting still, not even trying at times.

Definitely some room for improvement but overall guys great job! This truly had a game show like feel to it and it was exciting to see RUclipsrs I watch compete against each other like this
Honestly I think it was more on the video editing, it was rushing to get to show the correct answer if anyone got it or not, rather than having it like a normal game show where you give time to show if the guests can answer quickly and show the time limit once done if not. Yeah, that would make this video even longer but it would've felt more organic and it's not often they make these types of long form videos anyways

Aye this was fun! And seems like you identified a few ways to make a subsequent one better so hopefully you guys do this again :)
I think this is actually great. I would definitely watch this more. But I have some suggestions:
1. Give the viewers some time to think before giving the answer instantly so they can play the quiz at home too.
2. Try getting more variety in the show by adding different types of rounds (and shortening the first round).
F.e. a picture round, or a video round, connect the words round, every correct answer gives a letter of an anagram, 3-6-9, old and new, history, etc.
3. It is a tech quiz, but tech is more than computers ofcourse. You could invite youtubers from different type of genres of tech and base the main questions on the genre. F.e. an episode with only photographer RUclipsrs, one with only Music RUclipsrs, Audiophiles, Keyboard enthousiasts, programmers, gamers, cars, etc.
This is basically the best game to knock every Techie down a peg, no matter how much you know about certain niches and tech in general most of us have gaps in our knowledge

I didn’t do TOO bad with some of this trivia. I’d have probably gotten on the board. But yeah a lot of these are things I straight up never heard of. Though watching Linus fail at his own game was intensely satisfying and made me feel better about not knowing some obvious ones.
I probably could have won the 3rd round. The programming questions were so easy, the rest of them were more fact based rather than knowledge based though.

Linus did a really good job at hosting. Definitely a better one than at participating lmao. I love how cordial he was with the first group and how much more he expected from the second. This game was won on good playing more than extensive knowledge. Would be cool to see one where they studied, but who of them really has time for that?

This is amazing content tbh. The concept was perfectly executed. Kind of surprised they didn't know more answers for these though which was a weird insight into each of them.
These were tough questions though and i think everyone has their pet topics. i mean i knew the answers of almost all coding and linux related questions but everything else was like trying to decrypt ancient egypt hieroglyphs to me. It was still funny to watch, even though it was mostly people afraid to lose points :D

I like this cause the questions are genuinely tricky and tough. It takes a real knowledgeable person to go good at this game instead of the typical I know what's the latest phone, ddr4, etc. The toughness makes you really appreciate when someone like MKBHD gets them right.

I really enjoyed this! I know you’re getting heat about the questions but they were really good interesting questions! Jeopardy just does more priming to get people on the right track with their questions. That’s the only thing you were missing.
Also the people on jeopardy go through a pretty strong trivia screening process, from my understanding, so they are certified trivia buffs ready for the really obscure and varied kinds of questions.

Most game show hosts say sorry. It's quite a normal thing.

It's a very basic Game-show etiquette.

I'd definitely enjoy more of this content. I love the "gameshow that shall not be named or infringed", and these tech questions are legitimately challenging. Loving it at the halfway mark. I'd love to see Wendell on this show.
