      It worked pretty well on the blacktip. Got another one just like it so I can have two for an upcoming gator gar trip!

    Do you think you would get the medium light action for bottom fish up to say 12lbs we fish west coast gonna try a mad Katz spinning rod pink one for my wife

      Yes...the medium light= will be super sensitive. They have great flex completely through the rod. Great rods for the price.

    What size LL is that and What LBS braid ????

      The rod is a 7’6 heavy with a 6000 Penn fierce. The braid is 80lb and has a flouro top shot in 60 lb. 100lb wire if I remember correctly

      @@nickleback3695 they are sporty! I caught a gator gar that was close to the 8ft mark on this rod as well! Convinced these rods will handle any blue or flathead handily! Thanks for watching!
