For any young apprentice wanting to know the secret to exceptional skill: There once was a monk who sought enlightenment. He meditated daily but felt he was not making progress. One day, he observed a sculptor patiently chiselling a massive stone. Over time, the rough stone transformed into a beautiful statue. The monk asked the sculptor how he achieved such mastery. The sculptor replied, "I see the statue within the stone and simply remove what is not needed." The monk realized that enlightenment was not about acquiring something new but uncovering what was already within.
