What kind of camera would you pair with this? I'm looking to start recording sound tests and have no clue about any of it? Is there a mic/camera duo you recommend? Any help would be great appreciated!
Nice review! I am really inclined towards this mic for the mute button beside other goodies it comes with but does it work good only when I keep this close to mouth or will it even work well if I keep it on my desk while in online meetings? thanks
Ay man I got a couple questions in ur opinion what’s the best sounding switch and second question I’m buying the gmmk what’s the best switch for gaming
Right now, my best sounding switches would be Novelkeys Creams and Holy Panda/Glorious Panda Best switch for gaming - literally any linear switch will be good. Except Gateron clears because they're TOO light.
@@Omer-et5pk meh if you are typing in-game with them speed silvers quickly become a niusance i would like like a spring swapped 60g linear is best for gaming and still good for typing imo
I bought this mic and it has a lot of background noise no matter where I put the gain and I bought the one with the desk mount, and this makes every hit to my desk with my mouse sound really loud. Also my friends can't hear me in game so I have been on my headset mic for a while, but I want to give this mic another try. Any tips?
hi bud, so i find that you need to find some settings to adjust, filter settings like noise gate etc. find a software to mess with settings and go from there.
@@Romsicle i think sine i already have a blue yeti, this isnt much or an upgrade for my system. iam honestly not sure how much better my typin test would even be with a at2020 or shure sm57-lc
@@HeadShotKilla10 it really depends on your budget, I’d check out podcastage or curtis judd if you haven’t made up your mind already. Personally I’m running a Audient Evo-4 w an at-875r. I’m thinking of upgrading to either the at-4053b or the re-20. The 4053b is a indoor mic that is either a boom or shotgun (I forgot) so it can be out of frame of the camera and still pick up good audio. It has a hypercardioid polar pattern. Whereas the re-20 is a dynamic mic with a cardioid pickup pattern and doesn’t need phantom power like the 4053b, but it needs a lot of gain headroom (55-60db). This is why a lot of people get fetheads or cloudlifters which boost the signal and add more gain. The reason for doing this is to reduce the noise/hiss of turning the gain all the way up. Luckily, Audient has some of the best preamps so on the evo-4 I can turn the gain all the way up and will have less noise than most other preamps in the price point ($130) if I need to, I’ll likely get a cloudlifter or just upgrade my audio interface. I think it should do just fine because of the sound tests I’ve heard. Having a good mic and audio interface tho doesnt matter if you don’t have good mixing headphones to pair with it if you are trying to produce any type of audio whether it is paired w video or not. Perhaps you already know all of this, but I hoped this helped and lmk if you have questions. Don’t ask me necessarily which mics and hardware will be better, because there’s a lot of variables to take into consideration
Man, this Microphone is beautiful and really good!
just bought this mic. cant wait to get it hands on. :)
can you compare the keyboard sound test between this and blue yeti?

If you're starting off, just use your phone camera. The quality is good enough for anything these days.
@@Romsicle how to you record with phone camera and usb mic together?

It'll work fine anywhere on your desk as long as it's near your monitor

Did you use any voice editing for the mic or is that how it sounds straight out of the box with no changes
Straight out of the box, no changes whatsoever!

did you use an audio interface for this?
No, both are plug and play "USB mics"
Is this better then a Audio Technica at2020 or Shure sm57-Lc
than*
Yes, because you don't need a mixer.
@@Romsicle but if you have an adio interface already? then what should i buy?
@@HeadShotKilla10 That's really up to you lol, you can't go wrong any of the mics. If your main usage is vocals, I'd say the AT2020.
