  • The how to guide to manufacture a 45 degree set in Electrical trunking, step by step clearly showing how to make to a set measurement. This method uses an angle grinder although an hacksaw would be also as good (the method I normally use to demonstrate to students in a class safer). Looks as good or better than a bought one. Lid not shown but out of all lid to make, this again is the easiest. This how-to guide will help you master this essential skill. Perfect for precise measurements in your electrical work!

That was great help. I have always overshot on my bends and now I can see why.
    Thank you.

Best one I've seen on RUclips tbh. Had to make some myself recently after core drillers fucked up a row of holes for containment and no bends available where we were. Wish I found this prior 😂

Great video, thank you! Can you work the opposite way? Starting with the external bend first?

how do you do this with ladder

Ladder wrack will have (on the whole much larger cables therefore the bending radii will be larger and the cables will be heavier etc) It would not be advisable to try to do this. Just cut it a, remove flanges so two pieces can be joined and drilled and bolted. You need strength to support the cables. Please Share with like minded or maybe even like and subscribe.
