Thank you sir. I already subscribed. This is the video that I've been looking for long. you are the answer.❤
Thanks for the sub!
What if your designing the installation before it is done and don’t have the Zs value? Can you not work out the fault current by checking which breaker you use for instance c50 would require 10 times the rated current. Or b50 would require 5 times the rated current
Hi All new buildings are designed (electrically) before the buildings are built and therefore the electrical supply has been installed, assumptions based on experience have to be made or you take the maximum values of Ze as supplied from the DNO (you would be required to tell them what size supply you would like for the new build). Hope that helps it is a big subject, Please share with like minded people or maybe even like and subscribe.

Why √2?

Hi, Thanks for your videos for EIC. If a circuit addition is done on existing installation we tick the addition. How should be done the testing? Should all the circuits, I mean the new circuits and existing circuits be tested and recorded on EIC? or Just the one you added to existing installation? Circuit details, circuit test results. Thanks Your help is appreciated
Many thanks, Please share with like minded people. Earthing and Bonding should be checked as well as maximum demand. Only the circuit you have installed needs testing or any other circuit you have altered. Unless the client wishes the entire installation tested. Hope this helps, Please like and subscribe.
@@sparkyhelp3997 Thanks
series circuit has only one whole continuity main power supply while parallel circuit will be fraction or accurate for each load
You're absolutely right! Series circuits have that single pathway for current, while parallel circuits allow for individual control of each load. Great observation! Please share with like minded people or even like and subscribe.

Some very helpful information here. But, how would I work at my starting point if I know where I want the middle of the return to be?
Good question, to do this measure from the end to the back of bend, measure back from this point the dimension of the tray (this is your first bend). Now multiply the dimension of the trunking by square root of 2 (1.41) this will be the next bend. Maybe I will do a video on this to explain. Hope that helps, Please share with like minded people or maybe even like and subscribe.

Great video. Would this method work on any other sizes of trunking?
Yes as long as the trunking dimensions are square, if not alter for your trunking dimensions. Please share with like minded or maybe even like and subscribe.
Very good video but could you explain or do another showing how you calculate diversity on a 3 phase board please when 3 phase and single phase circuits are in the DB. Thanks
I have watch to the end. Hope that helps.
how do you do this with ladder
Ladder wrack will have (on the whole much larger cables therefore the bending radii will be larger and the cables will be heavier etc) It would not be advisable to try to do this. Just cut it a, remove flanges so two pieces can be joined and drilled and bolted. You need strength to support the cables. Please Share with like minded or maybe even like and subscribe.
