- FOX 13 Meteorologist Valerie Mills says she is watching for pretty intense forecasts as hurricane season gets started partially because of record high water temperatures around Florida. According to Mills, several days of tropical downpours will be possible next week

Folks, start NOW to store water, food, batteries, flashlights, extra meds, plywood, tarps, duct tape, etc, and don’t wait until a hurricane is 12 hours away. A smart Floridian KEEPS these things all the time. Best wishes through the hurricane season.

Get a box of solar outdoor spotlights, they can be recharged during the day and last all night. You only need three days of food, Publix will be open by then or you should run away. Keep lots of cash on hand, none of the sales terminals will be working so you need cash for gas and Publix. Don't buy water, buy collapsible camping 5 gallon cans, they take up no room between storms and your sink water works fine before the storm. Fill the tub for using the commode.

I don't know if Flooding is coming to Florida I think it will move more to the East I can see it from the National Hurricane Satellite. It may Develop in time But by seeing the Satellite Loops something tell me it will move more East than North toward here Florida. But timing is everything let see what would happen. In addition to the record-high water temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico at Clearwater Beach and Key West, many Floridians don't know that the Gulf Loop Current is also at record temperatures at this time. All of this is the perfect recipe for the eventual formation of a major hurricane. Major hurricanes are nothing new to the eastern Gulf of Mexico. How many people know that John's Pass (Madeira Beach) was literally carved out by what amounted to a Category 5 hurricane many, many centuries ago when those barrier islands were basically uninhabited.
Tampa supposedly does not get hit by major hurricanes… Proper South Florida seems to not get hit as well… They miss the big cities so far… Hoping for no devastation

Serious question, this is a real weather report, right? I live in that area where they are showing Tuesday/Wednesday storms, so I'm very interested in it, especially if it's going to get bad. The meteorologist looks like a beautiful model though and she's a bit too well versed for local news (getting trained actress vibes), so I'm trying to make sure I'm not getting duped here by a joke video. It feels real, but it also has the feel of a comedy skit video. If it's not real, does someone have a trusted source for weather in this area. Thank you in advance.
Never mind. I found a video with an update from today after seeing this and realized it's the same channel, same report. Disregard that post. I've unfortunately been duped by a fake weather forecast before on here and it had the same red flags. Didn't mean any attempt to discredit the meteorologist, but she looks/sounds like a trained model/actress and that's basically what happened last time. Got me caught in a major storm with my nieces!
