he sounds just like bix. love it. my grandfather played with bix twice . Bunny berigan when he was in his early 20s. I love bix you gave him justice really good. great beat had me swinging.

Trombone is a great ensemble player. He fills in the gaps. But for this to happen, the trumpet needs to leave some gaps. Unfortunately, over the years as a trombone player I have played with one or two trumpeters who did not leave gaps. This doesn’t apply to clarinet players, who are playing an obbligato anyway.
