Mama didn’t raise a quitter! Yes bookings are down, but we can reevaluate and realign to a stronger message to our clients. Keep pushing friends!! You ARE worth it.
My husband is in the video part of our business, his biggest problem is he works a 9-5 job when I am in the photography full time. The plan is husband and wife team, make enough to get away from the 9-5 to have it as his career. It’s hard to network people around here,(competitive or slack help in loose ends)
Yup, totally ready to stop after 20 years. Still competing at higher end in local industry but watching new companies drive the prices down and down to ridiculous levels. This means bookings are becoming much more work to get. Still on target but the effort is much higher. Dependency on social media also an extra time drain that is just not enjoyable. So spending more time than ever each year, just to earn the same income. Still have bills to pay though, so hanging on in there for as long as we can over the next few years 😂
I'm glad Im not the only one worried about 2025 bookings. It's super light right now an I keep hearing from different places that it is a pretty common concern in the industry these days.
