And did you ever try to cast ANY Z Man product ? The Elaz tec takes all of the energy out of the cast. I’ve never been able to get ANY distance out of them.

That's Not a good Knot for those Hooks. There's a small Gap on Hook Eye and the Line will go through that small Gap and you will Lose it.

@@tphvictims5101 It's a 7" bait, I can cast it. Maybe you need to readjust your reel for this bait?
(James Maxwell) It's a Gamakatsu SuperLine Offset EWG hook, it has "NO" gap in the hook eye.
