I am as excited as you are. Hopefully, my upgrade will be here soon. I am anxiously watching every video I can find about the added features. Your videos are always so clear and easy to follow.
Hi!!! Wow!! Congratulations Rosemary, you are incredible.... I'm very happy for you. I hope this wonderful Upgrade Kit comes to Brazil... Here our Embroiderer is Innó-vis Bp3600. Kisses from Brazil... I always follow your videos.
Would like to see how the lazer stitch works! As I understand you can draw a line and it will line it up perfectly even if it isn’t hooped exactly straight. Thank you for your help & videos!😊
Ok so I still haven't received my upgrade and it's getting close to a month since I had ordered from my local store. Do you know if it's this slow everywhere? I know you work in a store so thought you would know if your having trouble up there in getting their upgrades in.
Well Rosemary, I did it....I broke down and purchased the Upgrade. It does have "a lot"! Funny thing though after I completed everything I noticed an explanation mark where the WiFi symbol is, clicked on it and said to install update! I thought WHAT.. I just did that before the upgrade.. I was a nervous nelly as when I first clicked to do it nothing happened, so tried again and yep 2.10, looking into Brother Support.. sure enough, there it was dated 10/2/23 (day I upgraded) You prob. got your alert too.
I am so so glad I found you! I have been trying to decide if I want to invest in this "Upgrade", it is VERY expensive, as I am really not sure about that hoop, you can't use it with the My Design app, and I like to take a pic of my material and audition the designs. I wish they would offer the upgrade without that, then if a person feels the need for it, purchase separately. Getting back to your tutorial, THANK YOU, you done a great job of showing how to set it up in the machine, and thanks for going thru all the new things that are on this upgrade., Brother's tutorials should be more thorough.
I am glad the video was helpful. The upgrade would most likely be that expensive without the hoop. The hoop is more like a bonus. I would definitely get the upgrade it has so many really great features.
I got my upgrade kit last week, and got it loaded up to my XE1 over the weekend. Last night I made one of the new built in ITH designs, and it turned out so well. I made the pattern that creates a hanging bag, with the sewing machine designs. It is really nice for keeping smaller notions and tools handy by the sewing machines. I'm so happy with all the new features, (but I do wish they had included the option to stitch out the fill designs in a single run as well as as the default triple stitching.) A really cool feature is the ability to resize the enormous button holes down to button holes that could be used for regular garments. That will be really useful.
@@enchantingrosemary8776 it is not a sewing machine bag, but a little accessory bag that can hang from a clip or hook. It is in the section with the ITH designs. There is an old fashioned sewing machine motif on it. If you download and print out the manuals, you will find the directions and pictures in the manual with the embroidery designs.
Upgrade Looks so good, thanks for the demo. Not launching in UK til mid-sept! Really looking forward to seeing how the sashiko stitches turn out. Funny that I mentioned that to you a few weeks ago and now it might be possible.
I would like to import a quilting design (shell that is appliqued), and use the design center to embroider a design around the outside of the shell. So exicited about the possibilities of new designs in the design center
Bring your design into embroidery first and save the shape to the design center and put a fill around it. The upgrade does have some fun new fills. About 15 I believe.
I believe so. You get a magnetic hoop and the don’t sew function and the matrix copy and more outlines and fills in the design center. I am very happy with mine.
I so glad that you got the hoop. I'm patiently waiting to get my upgrade. Can you show how to use the #11 design that looks like a candy jar? I hope this makes sense! Have a good day!
I watched your video last night & got so excited for you! Mine showed up today, & I couldn’t be happier, want to try out everything. Were you able to find out if we’re going to be able to use the new magnetic hope with the alignment apps? Thanks for making your videos, I always enjoy watching them 😃❤️
@@enchantingrosemary8776 well rats! I think I saw a video awhile back where someone used the hoop with the markings to take a picture with & send to the Stellaire, & then put the fabric in a larger hoop to actually do the stitching. Will have to try that out. Thanks 😃👍
The new upgrade is nice, but would still love to see better quilting and edge to edge designs and less of the child like designs for adults without children/grandchildren. I think the laser function will help for better placement of designs as Design Center still a little clumsy IMHO.
Thank you. I will check to see if I’ve done that. I also purchased a rotary cutting blade for the SNC which also has a card and number to register. I’m so thankful for your tip about this. My dealer did not warn me.
I would love to see what you would use the tapering stitches for. Can you use other fonts or designs with the couching foot or can you only use the ones in that group on the machine? How to use the edge to edge designs. Like do you have to make sure it will size perfectly or what do you do if you get to the edge and only have a small section that needs quilting?
Couching had to have a continuous line that does not go back over the same lines but I did do a little video on it a while back and will definitely use this new tool. The edge to edge is not a program like on the Luminaire but with the lasers we can line up pretty easily. Running out of space is always a problem but sometimes you can size a bit and use a little math to get the job done. I will definitely get a video going on that.
@enchantingrosemary8776 Awesome! Thanks so much. I am a newbie but excited about all of this. I actually just bought my XJ1 about a month ago and got the upgrade 2 days after it came out. Lol I figured if I'm gonna learn I may as well learn with all the good options. I am excited about the two point laser system. Thanks so much for all of your videos.
The Stellaire 2 upgrade has more fills in the design center and has added a laser for lining up designs. If you get the sewing and embroidery combo it has sashiko stitches. If you are looking for a new machine instead of an upgrade, the new machine has a quick release stitch plate. The upgrade has also added some crochet designs that are fun and a matrix copy that even the luminaire does not have. Oh and you also have the do not sew feature.
Let me know if you have the tapered sewing function on your new upgrade. because I have it kind of but it's grayed out and goes clunk clunk when I try to click it. Kind of sad.
I am as excited as you are. Hopefully, my upgrade will be here soon. I am anxiously watching every video I can find about the added features. Your videos are always so clear and easy to follow.
Thank you. Filming is tricky on the screen but I try and show what I would want to see.
I’ve never seen you sew excited about your Stellaire XE1. Nice demo
Yes I can be pretty passionate about my sewing.🤪🫣😊😁

Yes I took a peak at it last night. I will do a video on it asap.
Thanks for y
All your information, here in Australia we have to wait End of November or December, I have ordered it, can’t wait for it to come
I will try and keep you informed until you can get yours.
So exciting. Mine is supposed to be in tomorrow or Saturday. Whoo Hoo

Thank you for showing how to download the upgrade.
You are welcome. It was easier then I thought.

Thank you for going over the upgrade! Love you videos!
Thank you

Yes and I knew you could fake it with some of the quilt stitches and that the Luminaire had some so this will be fun. Definitely on my list.

Great! Mine is on back order!
Just Great. Thank you so much
You are welcome!
I'm so excited for you! Can't wait for your upcoming videos😃.Not available yet for us up north.I'll be ready when it does.
🥰😁thanks
I have the Inno-vis Stellaire XE1. Is it worth purchasing the upgrade?
I believe so. You get a magnetic hoop and the don’t sew function and the matrix copy and more outlines and fills in the design center. I am very happy with mine.
I so glad that you got the hoop. I'm patiently waiting to get my upgrade. Can you show how to use the #11 design that looks like a candy jar? I hope this makes sense! Have a good day!
All of the designs on that peticular page are appliqué. That would make a fun video. Thanks for the input.

It doesn’t look like it, but the laser placement works great.

Yes I wish they had more elegant designs. The laser should be very useful.
Me too! I added a Scan n Cut with it.
Oh yeah. And don’t forget to do the connectivity on it. It will add new features to your appliqué. I have a video on it.

Edge to edge video would be awesome!
I did one recently . Check it out.
Is the Sashiko stitch included with the Stellaire upgrade?
Yes it is supposed to be but I have the XE1. I will be able to try the new XJ2 soon and will do a video on the sashiko as soon as I can.
Is there a blanket stitch motif on the Stellaire?
Yes in the upgrade
Yes! It is in the upgrade.
Great! Thanks! Got the upgrade and now I need to install it-yikes!
Yeah!
🤗
How do I get the hoop? I did the upgrade… it shows images that are grayed out!!😢
That is the update. The upgrade is purchased from a dealer and when you install it the grayed out areas will activate. The hoop comes with it.
@@enchantingrosemary8776 I am purchasing my upgrade as we speak!!!!
What is the major difference between the Stellaire and the Stellaire 2?
The Stellaire 2 upgrade has more fills in the design center and has added a laser for lining up designs. If you get the sewing and embroidery combo it has sashiko stitches. If you are looking for a new machine instead of an upgrade, the new machine has a quick release stitch plate. The upgrade has also added some crochet designs that are fun and a matrix copy that even the luminaire does not have. Oh and you also have the do not sew feature.

What kind of a papered sewing function? I have the embroidery only machine but should have the combo in the store soon.
Sorry. Typo. The tapering function is what I meant.
Ohhhh that makes more sense 😁 I know it has it I just have to see it on the new XJ2. I have the XE so it is not on my machine.
