    I am so glad I found you! you make everything so simple and I love watching you. I got an XE1 for and early Christmas/birthday gift (12-19) with the upgrade. Great pricing for them because they are clearing out the older models. I tried making the caddy and since I am so used to making ITH projects, it was really easy. It is hanging on the wall above the ironing board holding scissors for trimming those stray threads that I always seem to miss. Also is good for a small dollar store lint roller- something I cant live without in my sewing room. I think I might make another one and hang it on the extra spool pin on my longarm for the extra stuff I need for longarming. Thanks again for the videos. Keep 'em coming!!

    Thank you for sharing your experience. I really loved how to block a figure from the edge to edge. And the upgrade info.

    The item you were talking about is a scissor holder. I have the baby lock sister machine and I read that somewhere on their site.

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  10 месяцев назад +1

      Well it works as a holder for all sorts of stuff like seam rippers and stylists and scissors but thanks for letting me know what the designers consider it for. I hope you liked the video.

    I made the cute hanging caddy a few weeks ago. hold small notions next to my machine. I printed out the manual for the upgrade and it has the instructions for the ITH designs. It's not a mug rug.... recommend you read all the instructions through before beginning to get an understanding of how the design works. I am so glad you showed your viewers how to access the new designs for ITH. I sent you a message via IG with a picture of what I made.

    I keep a pen, some trimming scissors and some small pliers I use to hold the needles when I change them out. Also, I have a few clips along the side. As to the confusion about the folds.....look carefully at those. I believe the instructions are showing the folds from the backside or the pocket. Mine turned out the way the picture of the finished product shows. Wish the pocket didn't cover up some of that cute embroidery though. Mine hangs on a bulletin board that is very close to my embroidery machine.

      I think mine looks like the picture as well. And I think it makes a nice pocket to put frixion pens in on my peg board.

    Hi Rosemary, I have learned so much about my xe1 from your videos. I updated my machine and since then I cannot send an embroidery from my laptop to my machine through WIFI. I've not had any trouble before. Have you any ideas about how to solve this. I have the same WiFi on both and they are next to each other.
    Thank you
    Regards Marcia Windsor

      Look at the Wi-Fi emblem at the top left. Does it have an exclamation mark? It my need another update. Otherwise I just keep hitting the refresh button.

    Thank you for the great videos. Do you know if the crochet design can be cut in half in order to make “lace” around a piece of fabric for a hanky? I’m trying to make a hanky out of an old wedding dress. Thank you!!!

      @enchantingrosemary8776  11 месяцев назад

      I don’t think so. You may be able to save it to a usb drive and put it in software but I haven’t tried it yet.

    Thank you. I'm still waiting on my upgrade from the quilt shop! Seems the upgrades were on a truck and the pallet got damaged by the trucking company and they are waiting on the replacements to be delivered. The shirt you made is very pretty!

    It's a sewing case for cotton buttons and needles the top should fold over

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  Месяц назад

      @@caroleblackmore6390 yes it could work that way. I hung mine by the loop and put frixion pens in it.

    With those "crochet" patterns, what kind of thread did you use? There was a demo done where cotton thread was used of course this was done on the XJ2, and they did mention cleaning the bobbin case due to the lint. Would you ever use cotton thread on your XE1?

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  11 месяцев назад

      I used floriani poly. If it was cotton embroidery weight thread I would use it for a specific look.

    May we use some other Brother hoops, say 6" x 10" and 4" x 4" in this XE2?

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  6 месяцев назад +1

      You can use any Brother hoop that’s smaller than 9.5 x 14.5 but if they don’t have the black stickers on the frame you cannot use the app.

    Does the xj1 with upgrade have echo quilting? I like your review and curiosity on the Xe1. Maybe by recreating the in the hoop project in the machine,it will give us ideas how to create our own in the hoop patterns my design center.

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  Год назад +1

      Yes, they have added echo quilting and the ability to add the decorative fills in embroidery edit .

      Yes they have added the echo quilting and decorative fills in the embroidery edit screen. I have a few in the hoop pattern videos, like the mug rugs.

      Thanks, I will check your in the hoop videos out. Now that I have had my xe1 for almost a year, I purchased the xj1 to do sewing and quilting.the videos people make are making more sense to me(about My Design Center)now. I guess my learning curve is longer than most. Ha ha

      2nd question unrelated, do you have a video for storing your designs and creations that you have made and are in your machine to a USB? And when you delete does it free up memory in the machine?

    • @enchantingrosemary8776
      @enchantingrosemary8776  Год назад

      I have a video for copying to a stick from your computer but not from the machine. When you push memory you can save to a stick then and you can delete from your memory. I am uploading a video this week on the new sashiko designs and I will add a little on memory to the end.
