The city circuits are boring, and to hold a F1 GP in Vegas where so many shop owners and such suffer so much, well, then it's not about racing anymore. It's a race for the rich only, and again, that's not what racing is about. How many drivers are complaining about the regular circuits, not so much? And to disrupt a big part of a city such as Vegas, for weeks and weeks every year? Come on!
Lando is an okay driver but luckily this year he has a reliable, quick car. He is not a force of nature world champion, if he wins one it will be because of faltering rivals, help of team mates (love to see the start of next year) and a very competitive car. Lando is no Senna.
How can drivers criticise Vegas for the track? Being too narrow and overtaking? Opportunities are slim when every bloody year we get the Monaco Grand Prix which is the biggest pile of crap of a narrow crappy out of date circuit? You will ever see you every year that gets a free pass because it’s Monaco. I really don’t like street circuits altogether. I think this sort of quality racing should be done on full-time permanent race tracks and as you haven’t gathered from my comment already the Monaco Grand Prix should be not and I mean not allowed to continue because the Vegas track even with its limitationswith the exception of racing at night which is bloody stupid is still better than a Monaco
That nickname says it all! The Las Vegas GP certainly has its share of spectacle and controversy-some love the glitz, others see it as just a cash grab
Max is not street racce fan, that's what f1 has been and should be, and ur rite the cars are to long and heavy for street racing and money is the whole idea behind liberty media and fia not prestige or glory of the sport.
City disruption is not even close to Monaco, where the race takes place, literally, on 90% of the streets in the city/ country. Street side shop owners like to whine, but what other weekend has 100's of thousands of people roaming the city, NOT in casinos. As far as F1 cars on street circuits, Monaco is much tighter, much slower, and much harder to pass.
Clearly, any damages caused by the race track to any car should be shouldered by the host track.
Agreed. Carlos and Ferrari got screwed over last year.

There's Google, Wikipedia, RUclips... It's all there to see how real F1 was

Won by Visa Cash Grab?
@@F1NEWSNitroWorldBut isn't the whole f1 series a cash grab? Do you think f1 would exsist if there wasn't a lot if money at stake?

Bur aren't all f1 races for show? No show, no dough.
Lets drive through Bellagio than
Last year the tickets were being given away. The real sales are likely to have been a few thousand.

The heat of the day in Nevada is absorbed into the concrete and asphalt. The temp of the track will be higher than the air temps of 11c/55f
Welcome to the Americanisation F1.
It’s no worst than Monaco! What F1 should do is move it in front of Austin and Mexico City, somewhere around early to mid October!
