You, sir, are a stand up guy! Did I notice you going into Home Depot through the exit doors? Lol jk.. You're right, one trait of successful people is that they are up and at em early in the morning, planning out the day. Hats off to your wife as well! Lots of tasty food in this video. I recommend jalapenos with everything! Enjoy your day partner!
HAHA! Thanks! I don't always break the rules, but when I do, I go in the exit at home depot! :) Thanks for the comment! How has work been for you?
Work has been good. Should be finished with this project we've been on for a few weeks now. Realtor flipping this home, so we fixed the foundation, replaced roof, new drywall, cabinets, floors, doors, remodeled bathrooms, paint inside and out. Looking to be finished in two days, then a similar gig, and hopefully building a house in May for a repeat customer. We're still in the planning stages of that. I love the big projects, but I also love the fast projects like the ones you spoke of a few videos back. 👍
Thats awesome man!! Have fun!!
I dig your videos. I'm gearing up to go into the handyman business myself. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I watched my dad wake up early everyday and devote his first breath and time to God. He would read his bible and pray before getting ready for work or his day. We never went without and always had a roof over our head and food on the table. I am a handyman as well, your videos help me along my way.
That's so great to hear Justin! Thank you for your comment!
I tried hinting around about my lunch still waiting for a sandwich lol
HAHA!
Hey, know this vid is a year old but do you remember what you charged for repairing that fence?
Hi Lee. What size is your trailer? I recently started my handyman business in Columbus Ohio. I'm currently using a 2006 Toyota Sequoia to haul tools and materials. It gets full quick. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment Joel! Yes it is amazing how much tools and other stuff acquires. lol My trailer is a 5' x 8' , I love the size, I just wish it was about a foot taller.
Great video! Love your attitude. Wishing you all the best. Take care
PipeSmoking Plumber thanks! I appreciate your comment! Where are you located?
Hey man. I know this is a personal question so feel free to ignore it but, how much taxable income do you expect to make this year?
Hey Matt, Thanks for your question, I appreciate it. Last year my business made about $70K , My business is structured as an LLC so not all of that was taxed, I pay my self out of what the business makes but only as much as I need. I hope that answered your question.
Honest Lee Handyman thanks!
Your welcome!
Greetings Lee, waving a hand from southern California. I enjoy your videos and the wholesome nature of your presentation. Kudos and much success to you both.
Thank you for the kind words Corey!
Allen, your video is a stand up job! I love watching you fix the fence, making the best of your time eating while your concrete is curing. The Gopro on the fender while on the road is fantastic + choice of background music.
You should check out Casey Neistat videos in NYC. He's a pro at it. I think you'll enjoy his style.
Keep them coming, your bringing us with you on your work sites!
Giving back to the community via your church is a big deal ! Feeding the hungry is honorable. Thanks again!
Hey thanks for your comment Dennis! I appreciate your encouragement! I love watching Casey!
Great video and much respect
That time when you go to like a video, then you realize you already liked it two minutes ago. That’s how great this video was, and maybe how forgetful I am. Thanks HonestLee
Liberty Sings hey! I appreciate that! :) Thanks for your awesome comment!
Great videos Allen! I am also starting a handyman business, currently 26 yrs old. I follow many of your videos and they are a great help to guide me in the right direction! keep up the great work!
Thats so great! Thanks you for thew comment and I appreciate the following! Keep up the great work!
How much did u make total that day?
Really enjoying the new view from the trailer fender, and the practice of getting up early is always a great way to increase your own productivity and success. 👍🏼
Thats great! Thank you for your comment!
Early bird gets the worm! Great to see that getting up early has boosted business. I'm up early but my morning is filled with getting 3 kids ready and the wife lol then my day starts. Also great to see a fellow handyman showing how he ministers to his community and his local church! Awesome videos!
Thanks for the comment! Love it!
1:40. Just order the stuff you need at homedepot.com and they are ready for pickup when you arrive. Saves so much time. $$$$$ You'll still need to get a few things you forgot to at to order. But like anything, it's a process and you will know when to add consumables, i.e. caulk, tape, etc to the list. God Bless.
What size trailer is that
What kind of sandwich is it? Looks like turkey.
Haha! Yep, I believe it was turkey!
Great vid as always man!!
Thanks Andy!
New to your channel, great job.
Thanks Man! I appreciate it!
Absolutely Awesome advice and shows how mature you really are.... Thanks for sharing. Oh! I have one cheat day where I sleep in usually Saturday until 7:00....
New to your channel, awesome!
Stephen Wright thanks for your comment Stephen! Glad to have you! Where are you located and what do you do for a living?
God bless you and your family! Thanks for being apart of my life and taking the time teaching me how to do things we/I generally take for granted. Until it breaks that is.
That's awesome what your church does for the community! Great work
Thanks for your comment!
Hey lee, great channel!
I’m starting my own handyman business myself and was wondering how you came up with the $110 price to replace the toilet valve assembly?
I tend to under charge for stuff like that. Yesterday I replaced two bathroom facets at my neighbors house for $60 labor. I feel like I’m way under what a should be after watching your video. Thanks
Great question! I appreciate your comment! I would recommend for you to check out this video, I explain my pricing strategy. ruclips.net/video/1SVs72oarA0/видео.html
Honest Lee Handyman sorry Allen, I called you by your last name accidental.
I saw that video this morning.
Thanks!
No problem!
Are you familiar with Arcade church in Sacramento.
Yes, I have heard of it, never been there
How much do you usually make in and average day.?
Thank you for your comment Terry, Typically I make between $200-$1300/ day, depending on what kind of jobs I have and how much I work that day
Could you give me some information on which GoPro you went with please.
The camera I use (Activeon): amzn.to/2qC6IQa
Timothy, I purchased this same Activeon action camera a few weeks ago for $35 on Amazon, it's great! Does what I need it to do, and the kids have fun with it in the pool or when we bike ride. I'm not sure I'm interested in making videos for RUclips, but if I was, this camera does very well. Give it a shot, Timothy (no pun intended.)
Haha! Yes it is definitely worth a shot! I love the camera! What did you all think of the shots of it mounted to the trailer?
Thanks and yes I’m looking to get one for the channel.
The camera shots from the trailer fender were interesting. I had to squint a little bit, though, because I was getting a very, very slight feeling of nausea. But that's due to the very easily triggered motion sickness nonsense that I have. Yes, I'm weak. I don't ride roller coasters. I never ride passenger. But I can fly in airplanes and do cartwheels with no problems lol. All kidding aside though, it was an interesting angle, but I need to see the big picture of everything around me. I'll take my Dramamine an hour before watching your videos. I've read that placing an aspirin in your belly button keeps you from getting nauseous, but that sounds just a bit too weird for me to consider doing lol.
UP AT 5AM WHAT TIME DO YOU GET TO BED,? AND WAIT UNTILL THAT BABY COMES YOU WILL WANT SLEEEPPPPP LOL
I go to bed at 9pm. Thanks for your comment!
nice thats awesome im starting to do that .. my 9month old goes down at 6pm so gives me some time to get to sleep after and wake up early drinks cup of coffee and water the grass and get ready for the day
place your camera on top of your trailer looking forward.
I love this idea! I will definitely do this! Be on the look out!
If I could learn to turn off the internet to get to sleep. Early to bed early rise
Do you have your contractors license or just a buisness license?
Oh come on!
So what other things are you doing? You got to share!
Calgary Alberta Canada
Very cool!
how/where did you learn to fix all these things?
RUclips is flush with how to videos
Yes, a lot of RUclips videos and some great mentors!
nicely done video and info
Thanks for your comment Bill!
