      While I agree with you that mistakes are made, some mistakes are one strike and you're out. Unfortunately, that's how it goes in broadcasting and this era. I will miss his commentary too.

    Brennaman is just like Verne Lundquist, Don Criqui or Charlie Jones - guys who were always #2 announcers at a network but seemed to always be Johnny on the spot for the big historic and classic moments that happened in various sports, a lot of times moreso than the guys who were the #1 announcers at their networks.

      Verne Lundquist was one of the best! Not sure if he's still working but at least Adam Sandler recognized his greatness by giving him a nice role in Happy Gilmore.

    Great video. Only ones to be missing are Jeff Kent's walk off homer in 2004 NLCS Game 5 between Houston and St. Louis, the Steve Finley grand slam, and the Jeter flip to get Giambi at the plate.

    Should've put Steve Finley's Walk Off Grand Slam to clinch the 2004 NL West for the Dodgers. I'll never forget that. Down 3-0 in the 9th and the Dodgers pulled the rug from under the Giants.
