    • @jenx5870
      @jenx5870 Год назад

      I don't remember it being controversial then, and don't see how it would be so now. It was a funny way of describing the scene unfolding to the viewers who couldn't see what was happening on the field. He was running faster than the police trying to catch him at that point, and they were making football play by play calls as a joke. It was a hilarious way to fill up what would have otherwise been dead air, and it was some quick thinking on his part. Kevin Harlan is a commentating genius, and a gift to the sport. He turned an otherwise boring event for tv and radio viewers into probably the best part of the game. If someone pictured anything other than a white man with a giant beer belly running across the field, then that is on them, because that is the only thing I think of when these people do this. And I am white, so I am not hating on white people. Just look in the stands and see who the drunken fans are that the camera zooms in on, and you will understand why I get that picture in my head. People need to stop hate baiting, when no hate is intended. Look at the field. Look at the fans. Think about it.

  • @AcessDBpro

    1:50 This play would be called an incomplete pass under current rules. The rule was changed to ensure that receivers must plant both feet (or an upper body part) in the field of play before going OB. If they catch the ball in the air, but the defender knocks him out while in the air and he doesn't plant his feet or upper body in the field of play, the pass is incomplete. In this case, the Vikings would have won under the updated rules.

    • @joshbarbeau3423

      @@joshbarbeau3423If you look at another angle from the play he only had one foot down, his right foot. But since it was ruled a push out it the time it didn’t matter. A rule that the NFL removed in 2008.
