That is what helped me too! ✔✔ Put up w/ this problem for two week and all I had to do was power off both phone and watch and restart! 🤷♀🤷♀

Whenever I try to pair my Apple Watch in the app I follow the steps and then when I do the camera thing it dosent even pick up my Apple Watch then whenever I do it manually my six digit code doesn’t come up on my watch 🤷🏼♀️ so idk what to do and I’ve tried everything

I thank you so much resetting my network worked after days of aggravation. Can you assist with this ... When I log into wi fi from my phone and the watch directs me to go to my phone app keyboard to type in wi fi password . Where in the iPhone app do I do this . I thank you again

Yeah, I've gotten a tone fo users that are having the same issue. You can try to do a reset form the watch itself and remove any beat profiles you have on your phone and see if you can reconnect after. If not then the best advice I was able to find in my research was to reach out to Apple they can help.

Thanks for the help Resetting the watch worked. The 11 now paired with the older 2 year old watch. Now that it's paired, the watch needed an update. Which its updating now.

Hi! Im actually using iwatch series 5, can iPhone 6 still be upgraded with iOS 13.3? I want to upgrade it since series 5 requires iOS 13 and up but software update on my iphone 6 says 12.4.4 is up to date?

requires an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 11 or later.
No ever where it says iOS 11 and up it even says it on the watch but at the back of the box it says iPhone 6s and up so you’d need iOS 13😢

Whenever I go and try to pair the watch to my IPhone, it says there needs to be an update to the watch and the IPhone. My phone is updated to the latest iOS but the watch still doesn’t work🤷🏼♂️

You have to look at which version of the apple watch os your running. Technically their compatible but the os on the apple watch might not work with the level of ios you have on your phone

Leonie Hilger I may have solved the problem! This worked for me. Go to settings - general - reset - and reset all settings and see if that works for you. good luck : )

DamianeMusic yea bro if you’ve tried everything and still nothing.. go into you’re settings then into general scroll down to reset and hit “reset all settings” you don’t lose any pics or info or apps it just refreshes the phone. I was using an Iphone6s plus and this worked for me. Good luck

Hey my Apple Watch when setting up isn’t loading past the “Connecting you Apple Watch. This may take a moment page. Any tips? My phones currently on iOS 13 and I haven’t downloaded iOS 6 on the watch as yet....... Update I’ve got it to work the problem was I had to update my watch to iOS 6 I guess iOS 13 on the phone is only compatible to the iOS 6 on Apple watch

Thank you. I upgraded to an iPhone 8 from a 6 and it didn’t want to pair. I had to reset my watch. It paired and now it is updating my watch software. It’s a little concerning though because it says “11 hours remaining”. I hope it doesn’t take that long!
This worked as of October, 2020. Bought a new Apple 5 watch, but it kept saying “unable to to update because you are not connected to the internet”. I reset my network settings and turned off my Apple Watch. Once I got reconnected to the internet and turned on my watch, I put it on and paired to it. Updated no problem. Appreciate the help brotha

Fir check to make sure your ios on your iphone have been fully updated, hs there my be a patch out if not
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Usage > Software Update - delete any update file, if one is shown.
Delete any beta profiles that may be installed for your iPhone and/or Apple Watch and then restart both devices after doing so.
Restart both your iPhone and your Apple Watch (normally): Close the Watch app on your iPhone: Double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the Watch app preview to close it Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first; Unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch (which updates watchOS as part of the process): The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup when offered the option during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).

When my phone scans the Apple Watch to pair it just scans it and the brings me to the screen to start scanning again, when I try to connect manually the 6 digit code doesn’t show up on my Apple Watch

@@kayliejo1154 Hi there, I figured it out eventually. I connected my watch to an old iPhone with an old IOS, I think it was IOS 11.
Once paired, I updated the watch, unpaired it from the old iPhone, and paired it again to the actual iPhone.
