Korone will always be a wild card. She does things on the spot and it works really well for her. And Korone did promise another MiKorone (possibly this year), so we could be seeing Improv Theater 2 soon.
They did it in 2019 and 2022. I'm not sure if there were any others but we have definitely had at least two so far.
I'll never forget when they had the food tasting test before 2024 expo and she interrupted Mio mid-script and Mio gave of the aura that she was about to end her right then and there, truly off-script Korone.

I have to say, for the GTA RP at least, both Mio and Kanata played along exceptionally well. Like when Korone told Kanata that she may be adopted, and Kanata's first response was to silently jump off of Korone's bike going at full speed. All 3 of them kept the story evolving, kinda roleplaying the characters, but never afraid to break the RP whenever the situation got too absurd. They really created a uniquely laid back and light hearted atmosphere, it was great to watch.
Yeah, and i've seen some comment supporting fubuki remark for "shooting too early" it felt bitter and my stomach kinda twisted reading such comment, its just that i dont want to put any blame on anyone but the one at fault is not kanata, it was the people that couldn't keep up with their role-play.
@hello-im I agree. You can go into a improv scene with a set story in mind, but you have to be ready to adapt. Irys I think did really well, healing Fubuki up immediately so she could continue the scene. I'm also glad no one arrested her immediately, probably because they also wanted to see her stab someone.

Kanata has always been incredibly good at roleplay and improv. Mio as well. Watch their stuff from the Mikkorone 24 hour New Year stream and some of the other call-in streams.
@@hello-im You know, I was only following fbk's perspective when I first saw that scene, so I too thought it was a shame for fbk to be "interrupted" by Kanata. But then when I caught up with the story from Kanata's perspective, it was obvious how good of a job Kanata was doing with her RP. The baker couple had so much unresolved inssues that won't magically disappear after a wedding, but the child may naively believe so and desperately hope the wedding goes through no matter what she had to do. After fbk fell to the ground and everyone was still screaming and trying to adapt to what had happened, Kanataso immediately asked her parents to continue on with their vow, even though, as Mio later points out, the situation was no longer suitable for that. To me it felt like Kanataso believed that the curtains would fall as soon as her parents kissed and nothing afterwards would matter anymore. It's a moving portrayal of a child's mindset in that unfortunate environment. (If the police then had to arrest Kanataso for murder, her story would truly be PEAK CINEMA.)
It was also moving that fbk, with all her inner turmoil and resolve, simply couldn't physically overpower a stripclub goer.
I love that eventually everyone figured out Korone is not meant to be reined in and that you get her best when you just let her be herself. A lot of people (most, probably) do best when they have their marching orders and there's something to be said for being able to do the task put in front of you as people tell you to do it but there's a small amount of people who don't fit that lifestyle and confining them to it weakens them and that's especially true when you're in a creative, entertaining environment like vtubing. Could management sit her down and say "you need to do this as we tell you" and she'd comply? Sure, she's not a rebel without a cause. But they sat down at some point and just said "as long as she doesn't break the rules, let's just let her be herself and work around that" and it's been to everyone's betterment since then. Same goes for Holomems.
And she stays true to herself. You never get the feeling Korone is being weird or wacky for the sake of being weird or wacky, she's only ever just being herself. If this was shctick then I think it might be tiring for people around her but I've never thought she's anything but genuine when she does what she does.
During an official stream with Lui and Mio, management specifically told Korone NOT to follow the script lol. No use trying to tame the wild DOOG when everyone loves her that way.
It's true. Korosan lives in the moment and she's really good at it. At the end of almost every stream she does Ending Making Time where she makes up a skit with drawings and clip art and it's always hilarious. She is very talented.
Korone is a natural force you just let happen
Miko is the older sister irl with a younger brother and sister and Suisei is the younger sister, Fubuki I don't know if she has a brother but she ends up being the older sister of the two.
Today (Sept. 30, nope I'm wrong Oct. 1 which is still Sep 30 US for most of the day) is/was Korone's birthday. Show her some love. She's the greatest of all time, after all.

Papakin was hilarious, but the Naniemon and Tokobushi-san skits were the funniest of them all. FBK was brilliant, plus they had Subaru too, i rewatch it often

And her mentioning that korone can't follow a script and is better off adlibing reminds me of the food tasting before 5th fes where mio and lui had stage direction but they just told korone to be herself. And it's all the funnier because of it.
Korone is the Attention Deficient Hyper Doggo. She truly can't direct her focus and has developed a wonderful personality around that.
It's awesome that Hololive can work with that instead of trying to restrain her, because she's absolutely perfect if she can just be herself.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to see more ad-lib RPs like daddy towa-sama becoming a beauty guru, it's one of my favorite videos.
The thing is there's only a handful of holos who can actually do improv skit. Everyone knows Korosan and her papakin scenario and yet no one remembers the Miko's side of skit that featured sankisei.

Seriously, between Mio or Lui starting the kidnapping without telling anyone, and Korone adding last minute lore on the seventh day with the reveal that Kanata was adopted. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the divorce at the final hour wasn't scripted or planned either.
5:36 I can believe that Korone has trouble sticking to a script. Even when she was explaining Kanata's adoption to Mio, she kept calling it a "lore update" and getting scolded by Kanata.
6:37 I can't hear or see the word Papakin without hearing _"WAZZUP, CHAT?!"_ followed by endless dad jokes.

Having an environment where you let creative people do creative things without getting in their way is how you nurture someone like Korone.
Sometimes you need to let her go to and fro and you'll get far better results if you're not trying to rein her in. You might have to set up guardrails but that's about it 😅
Some of her earlier sponsored streams were interesting to watch since she had to be a bit more disciplined but we still got some hilarious Assassin's Creed scenes out of it too 🤣
