I tried the psychiatric and psychological approach and managed to shed a lot of garbage still sticking to me and crating patterns. But now in at a wall again. I can't yet avoid being controlled by and react with the ego. I think it's because I haven't yet touched my inner self? Chi- Gung has always interested me but still I lack the feeling experience of linking to energy and letting my true self rise up. I was hoping you could tell me how it helped you and what would be the mental positioning to pierce through my veil of ego and let it go. It feels so long to reach it. Life calling you back down to ego all the time makes it even harder. The roller-coaster between lightness and optimism and towards loneliness and ego based reactions and thoughts. @@narusawa74 You just have to practice. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Learn the breathing first. Mantak Chia’s book, “Iron Shirt Chi Kung” is good for that. Then dedicate yourself to doing the breathing, and you can watch Master Shi Zheng Yi and do the exercises with him. Make yourself do it. Don’t overthink it. Just start practicing now. You will improve the more time and effort you put into it.
The beginning of being here now is an intention of making a step of " change" . We can become fixed in our thinking based on how we have learnt to see or perceive ourself and the world around us . I'd say our lens needs shifting . I started on this path because I was broken by the way I was living. Something deep inside me caused a huge disturbance inside that made me non directional and feeling lost and floating in shock and anxiety. Fixed stuck in a shattering of my former self that spontaneously occurred . It was natural . My inner truth erupted and I could no longer go on as I did . I bought a book 365 Tao by Deng ming-dao , started a chi gung class , practiced what I'd learnt in class each day between lessons , while reading each day a small page ftom the book . It was my truth that needed attention . 20 years on and the process has been dark and light . Painful and joyful . I've found periods of balance and much imbalance , made mistakes , learnt almost how to live again from scratch. It's an individual experience that is yours and no one else's. What do have inside that you are denying ? .. I now realise that ' Direction ' is vital , not destination . To be able to fall and lose and get up again and pause often and meditate in silence and find that inner space , emptiness , everyone slowly . That's in the body too . Opening the joints gently each day , the sinues, the breathe in deepening slightly each day . The mind being able to rest a bit each day to create its own space .. Empty gaps n spaces and places matter , cos life is a wriggly ragged mess otherwise that can weave a Web around, and cover over our true spirit which may never get the chance to say hi .. I can highly recommend training with Jiang Yushan. I have been training with him since september. I am new to the Kung Fu/Qigong world. I have learned so much about myself in so many ways since I have started training with Master Jiang Yushan. Not only about my body, but also in the psyche. I feel more confident and stronger mentally. My will has also become stronger. I see Jiang Yushan as a teacher with kindness, firmness and he is extremely generous with his knowledge and his wisdom.

Listened distractedly a few times (school run) for instructions on how to. To realise there arnt any but then inner wisdom intuition kicked in . Wow. It said remember how to breath. You can breath all that’s not yours away. Sit straight , that’s important . Energy will get stuck if not. breath into tandem area and breath out through back all that’s not yours feel where it is and move it out. It’s not all there is but it’s a start. Scrolled through a few posts and haven't found this said yet so let me say when it comes to Chi-Kung (Qigong) be VERY patient and do a lot of homework but most importantly find a teacher. Xi Sui Jing from what I gather in many cases is started AFTER Yi Jin Jing and shouldn't just be haphazardly done as you can hurt yourself. If you don't know what Yijinjing is then you probably shouldn't touch Xisuijing. Start with Da mo's Fist Set and/or 8 Brocades to prepare your body for the first 3 years(yes it takes time people), but again find a great teacher in the meantime! Remember don't hurt yourself, there's a reason why you aren't in a higher vibrational state and you must gradually and consistently train yourself to reach it. There are no shortcuts.
Shows that the OP has no idea, what Xisui Jing or Xisui Gong is. Xisui or marrow washing is sometimes referred to a Cha’n (Zen) transmission as in from master to disciple as such it is beyond scripture and it is a heart to heart sudden realisation or understanding. Bodhidharma aka Damo as in one of the written records, says to, Hui Ke (as in the 2nd patriarch of Cha’n) Buddhism “you have attained my marrow”, here he is referring to the essence of his teaching and therefore passing on the robe and his dharma. The washing can mean the ridding of the “fetters” or hindrance to attaining enlightenment and to reveal the true mind’s essence. The other explanation for this is “Xisui Gong” or the complete term is “Yijinjing Xi Sui Gong” which talks about firstly the stretching and lengthening of tendons and expanding the joints. This is practiced in a 12 movement yoga like system” the other part is using a wire brush to strike the bones and other prescribed acupuncture points. It’s not supposed to injure the body, it’s supposed to vibrate the bones and create change in a cellular level, which helps the body immune system. The bone marrow is the origin of your red blood cells, so this practice regenerates the body and helps slow down and reverses ageing. An additional part of the training is also using weights to stimulate the testicles. This has nothing to do with “tiet tang gong” as in receiving strikes to the groin. Stimulating this area, helps increase your testosterone and helps you retain your youth and vitality.
I'm currently in Thailand and I visited a hotspring. There's hot and cold baths all over the area with ranging temperatures. As I sat in what I believed to be a hot bath, I noticed a monk with his whole body immersed, dunking his head under the water. I assumed it was a cooler bath. After he left I went over to that bath and could barely keep my feet in there for a few seconds. I tried to acclimate but it must have been near 90 degrees. It still astounds me how he could overcome that kind of discomfort.

I'm not sure what cleansing is being referred to here, but I thought I should just say that because of fluoride in water there can be a build up of fluoride in bones that apparently displaces and disrupts calcium as well as cascades through the calcium ion channel. I heard a Doctor (Rucio) on RUclips saying there was successful reversal of thyroid damage in a small (ten people) study where they each had magnesium, coenzyme q10 (which helps mitochondria) and selenium-video here: ruclips.net/video/zX0PDVotOwU/видео.html. It sounds like a cellular reversal triggered through the thyroid that could help healthier calcium cascades instead of ones that harness toxins like fluoride. Also, seasalt is good for moving mucous along, and probably vitamin c as it helps mucous membranes, so that should help consistencies like marrow which seems to melt and freeze up as temperature and movement affect it. I have chronic pain, so I apply things like this to my life, baring in mind that calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D3 along with vitamin K2 help to reshape both soft tissue and bone. It's important to avoid synthetic supplements it seems. Also assisting the blood circulation is very important (especially today with mutated viruses) as pressure fighting viruses leads to clots if your blood sugars are too high. Nettles and primrose oil are good for capillary walls and blood consistency respectively also, but copper is meant to help cleanse the blood too, although I'm not sure how. I do drink filtered (Fluoride-free) water from a copper bottle, hopefully that is the right way (as opposed to other ways) of consuming copper although to be honest I doubt it is, as in nature you do not find copper bottles hanging from trees!! I'm hoping to reverse my damaged (grey) hairs with it anyhow! I think organic (always!) hibiscus teabis powerful for what I call sinews, and mucous membrane inflammation, and I find that cannabis is brilliant for synovial health (vaped medicinally, and not smoked-you can't heal anything without oxygen rich blood) but I suspect that without natural levels of thc it could cause unwanted build up in the brain, which I haven't yet researched too much, apart from using broken cell wall Chlorella and fasting. Yoga and tai chi have been beneficial for me, although I don't really have time for those things these days unfortunately so I just rely on other healthy practices and try those types of movements when I can. I think cannabis helps to dissipate lactic acid from muscles and organic bread seems to help muscle fatigue although I know it is said that the pancreas cannot detect bread, causing blood sugar problems. We're always fixing different things in our bodies each day so it would likely be important to meditate with changes, breathe through the nose for the immune system and keep in mind how your biology needs to reorder itself from time to time. Expansion and contraction of the skeleton has it's own sounds when it comes to my TMJ disorder, I can hear crackling and feel pain everyday but I know (due to learning about the condition) that my jaw is just trying to find it's place eversince orthodontics. I have a mouthguard (it had been missing for years until recently) so I had resolved to learn how to nutritionally dissipate lactic acid (through cannabis seemingly) in order to cope with damage (caused by prescription tablets years ago too) and help calcium cascades. I do believe that fluoride had seriously hurt my body in life. My father died of pancreatic cancer, at home and without morphine, and I once had diabetes type 2 so I learned more about how to reverse those conditions to help the body overall. I learned about how cancer operates. Mina Bissell on RUclips explains it well when she says that a healthy body has up to 7 billion cancer cells, I think, as it shows how fear causes intrusive action when non-action could be better, eg. through fasting, to reset things. It is possible to detox the body, as Master Shi was saying there - you gaining weight suggests you can gain new structure. You could probably say that your body transpires. Apologies that this is such a long comment, I'd feel worried if I left anything out that I thought might be important for others to consider in their health. Your brain needs to relax with your body to renew itself so you can just apply what you know day to day, I reckon, and see what works for you. Also, avoid fluoride. Get a reverse osmosis filter so that you can drink water which won't build up in your bones and teeth not just for your bones and teeth but to prevent the damage it does to your other organs, such as your endocrine system and thyroid. You see the results after applying discipline to your needs as you want to reach an improved state. I'm so glad I put effort into myself as there was a time that I fought with myself daily, for being depressed, until I realised that unhealthy habits had become a part of my identity. Change followed, slowly, and still does. Now, when pain gives me depression, I just wait until it stops again, knowing all I can do is my best. I'm not sure that unnatural things like orthodontics can be remedied completely through bone regeneration mechanisms however so I will probably use that unnatural mouthguard at night soon for relief if I don't get at least one or two days in the week where I get minimal TMJ disorder pains. Hibiscus is definitely helping me with that pain recently, and I haven't had access to cannabis with thc for over two months. It used to really help, but I'm not sure if it helped my ear damage- histamine works on smooth muscle in the ear canal, and histamine receptors apparently exist near endocannabinoid receptors. Knowing enough about how the body operates is surely useful for achieving health goals! Heeding comfort /discomfort can be good as you can sense a greater good for yourself. 🙏 🎶
It's good that you're actively doing what you can to facilitate self healing. In regards to fluoride in the water I remember people telling me to get a water distiller as ( apparently) the resulting water is better quality that using a Brita filter , which was what I was using at the time . Then someone else told me that it filters out everything from the water including minerals, so you'd have to re-mineralise the water afterwards. So I didn't get one in the end , more because of the price rather than the re-mineralising. We tend to focus on the water , but what about the fact that most people brush their teeth twice daily with flouridated toothpaste as well as tap water ??!!!
I was wondering about the copper vessel thing too.. I had been using a copper cup for my (filtered) water but I have recently stopped and have instead increased my copper-rich foods, like organic cacao as I know copper is essential as a trace mineral but toxic as a heavy metal and I have yet to find out where on the spectrum the use of copper vessels leaves us! He is beating around the bush in this interview but I'll try to say this more directly: the "Bone Marrow Washing" set he has been teaching publicly does in fact not lead to bone washing. As he said, you can't learn this from Shaolin, ironically. The real practice is much more advanced and can't be practiced until you meet certain prerequisites.

I tried the psychiatric and psychological approach and managed to shed a lot of garbage still sticking to me and crating patterns. But now in at a wall again.
I can't yet avoid being controlled by and react with the ego.
I think it's because I haven't yet touched my inner self?
Chi- Gung has always interested me but still I lack the feeling experience of linking to energy and letting my true self rise up.
I was hoping you could tell me how it helped you and what would be the mental positioning to pierce through my veil of ego and let it go.
It feels so long to reach it. Life calling you back down to ego all the time makes it even harder. The roller-coaster between lightness and optimism and towards loneliness and ego based reactions and thoughts.
It's very tiring to be in the middle.

@@narusawa74 You just have to practice. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Learn the breathing first. Mantak Chia’s book, “Iron Shirt Chi Kung” is good for that. Then dedicate yourself to doing the breathing, and you can watch Master Shi Zheng Yi and do the exercises with him. Make yourself do it. Don’t overthink it. Just start practicing now. You will improve the more time and effort you put into it.
The beginning of being here now is an intention of making a step of " change" .
We can become fixed in our thinking based on how we have learnt to see or perceive ourself and the world around us .
I'd say our lens needs shifting . I started on this path because I was broken by the way I was living. Something deep inside me caused a huge disturbance inside that made me non directional and feeling lost and floating in shock and anxiety. Fixed stuck in a shattering of my former self that spontaneously occurred . It was natural . My inner truth erupted and I could no longer go on as I did .
I bought a book 365 Tao by Deng ming-dao , started a chi gung class , practiced what I'd learnt in class each day between lessons , while reading each day a small page ftom the book .
It was my truth that needed attention .
20 years on and the process has been dark and light . Painful and joyful . I've found periods of balance and much imbalance , made mistakes , learnt almost how to live again from scratch.
It's an individual experience that is yours and no one else's. What do have inside that you are denying ? ..
I now realise that ' Direction ' is vital , not destination .
To be able to fall and lose and get up again and pause often and meditate in silence and find that inner space , emptiness , everyone slowly . That's in the body too . Opening the joints gently each day , the sinues, the breathe in deepening slightly each day . The mind being able to rest a bit each day to create its own space ..
Empty gaps n spaces and places matter , cos life is a wriggly ragged mess otherwise that can weave a Web around, and cover over our true spirit which may never get the chance to say hi ..
That's where I lead toward , and it leads me toward it ,
Cos there it is the deepest part of being alive .

I can highly recommend training with Jiang Yushan. I have been training with him since september. I am new to the Kung Fu/Qigong world. I have learned so much about myself in so many ways since I have started training with Master Jiang Yushan. Not only about my body, but also in the psyche. I feel more confident and stronger mentally. My will has also become stronger. I see Jiang Yushan as a teacher with kindness, firmness and he is extremely generous with his knowledge and his wisdom.

I believe it is time for me to make a plan to visit Master Shi Heng Yi and train there at the Temple. That plan is going to be. I think I’d also better lock in the price of Grand Master Jiang Yu Shan’s online courses before they skyrocket, too. First, practice daily. Be the self discipline that is the beginning and probably the bigger reason I did not yet make that plan. Thus a new beginning is found: be self discipline herself. My practice gains a new level. Listened distractedly a few times (school run) for instructions on how to. To realise there arnt any but then inner wisdom intuition kicked in . Wow. It said remember how to breath. You can breath all that’s not yours away. Sit straight , that’s important . Energy will get stuck if not. breath into tandem area and breath out through back all that’s not yours feel where it is and move it out. It’s not all there is but it’s a start. Scrolled through a few posts and haven't found this said yet so let me say when it comes to Chi-Kung (Qigong) be VERY patient and do a lot of homework but most importantly find a teacher.
Xi Sui Jing from what I gather in many cases is started AFTER Yi Jin Jing and shouldn't just be haphazardly done as you can hurt yourself.
If you don't know what Yijinjing is then you probably shouldn't touch Xisuijing.
Start with Da mo's Fist Set and/or 8 Brocades to prepare your body for the first 3 years(yes it takes time people), but again find a great teacher in the meantime!
Remember don't hurt yourself, there's a reason why you aren't in a higher vibrational state and you must gradually and consistently train yourself to reach it.
There are no shortcuts.

Shows that the OP has no idea, what Xisui Jing or Xisui Gong is.
Xisui or marrow washing is sometimes referred to a Cha’n (Zen) transmission as in from master to disciple as such it is beyond scripture and it is a heart to heart sudden realisation or understanding.
Bodhidharma aka Damo as in one of the written records, says to, Hui Ke (as in the 2nd patriarch of Cha’n) Buddhism “you have attained my marrow”, here he is referring to the essence of his teaching and therefore passing on the robe and his dharma.
The washing can mean the ridding of the “fetters” or hindrance to attaining enlightenment and to reveal the true mind’s essence.
The other explanation for this is “Xisui Gong” or the complete term is “Yijinjing Xi Sui Gong” which talks about firstly the stretching and lengthening of tendons and expanding the joints. This is practiced in a 12 movement yoga like system” the other part is using a wire brush to strike the bones and other prescribed acupuncture points. It’s not supposed to injure the body, it’s supposed to vibrate the bones and create change in a cellular level, which helps the body immune system.
The bone marrow is the origin of your red blood cells, so this practice regenerates the body and helps slow down and reverses ageing.
An additional part of the training is also using weights to stimulate the testicles. This has nothing to do with “tiet tang gong” as in receiving strikes to the groin.
Stimulating this area, helps increase your testosterone and helps you retain your youth and vitality.

I'm currently in Thailand and I visited a hotspring. There's hot and cold baths all over the area with ranging temperatures. As I sat in what I believed to be a hot bath, I noticed a monk with his whole body immersed, dunking his head under the water. I assumed it was a cooler bath. After he left I went over to that bath and could barely keep my feet in there for a few seconds. I tried to acclimate but it must have been near 90 degrees. It still astounds me how he could overcome that kind of discomfort.

I'm not sure what cleansing is being referred to here, but I thought I should just say that because of fluoride in water there can be a build up of fluoride in bones that apparently displaces and disrupts calcium as well as cascades through the calcium ion channel. I heard a Doctor (Rucio) on RUclips saying there was successful reversal of thyroid damage in a small (ten people) study where they each had magnesium, coenzyme q10 (which helps mitochondria) and selenium-video here: ruclips.net/video/zX0PDVotOwU/видео.html. It sounds like a cellular reversal triggered through the thyroid that could help healthier calcium cascades instead of ones that harness toxins like fluoride. Also, seasalt is good for moving mucous along, and probably vitamin c as it helps mucous membranes, so that should help consistencies like marrow which seems to melt and freeze up as temperature and movement affect it. I have chronic pain, so I apply things like this to my life, baring in mind that calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D3 along with vitamin K2 help to reshape both soft tissue and bone. It's important to avoid synthetic supplements it seems. Also assisting the blood circulation is very important (especially today with mutated viruses) as pressure fighting viruses leads to clots if your blood sugars are too high. Nettles and primrose oil are good for capillary walls and blood consistency respectively also, but copper is meant to help cleanse the blood too, although I'm not sure how. I do drink filtered (Fluoride-free) water from a copper bottle, hopefully that is the right way (as opposed to other ways) of consuming copper although to be honest I doubt it is, as in nature you do not find copper bottles hanging from trees!! I'm hoping to reverse my damaged (grey) hairs with it anyhow! I think organic (always!) hibiscus teabis powerful for what I call sinews, and mucous membrane inflammation, and I find that cannabis is brilliant for synovial health (vaped medicinally, and not smoked-you can't heal anything without oxygen rich blood) but I suspect that without natural levels of thc it could cause unwanted build up in the brain, which I haven't yet researched too much, apart from using broken cell wall Chlorella and fasting. Yoga and tai chi have been beneficial for me, although I don't really have time for those things these days unfortunately so I just rely on other healthy practices and try those types of movements when I can. I think cannabis helps to dissipate lactic acid from muscles and organic bread seems to help muscle fatigue although I know it is said that the pancreas cannot detect bread, causing blood sugar problems. We're always fixing different things in our bodies each day so it would likely be important to meditate with changes, breathe through the nose for the immune system and keep in mind how your biology needs to reorder itself from time to time. Expansion and contraction of the skeleton has it's own sounds when it comes to my TMJ disorder, I can hear crackling and feel pain everyday but I know (due to learning about the condition) that my jaw is just trying to find it's place eversince orthodontics. I have a mouthguard (it had been missing for years until recently) so I had resolved to learn how to nutritionally dissipate lactic acid (through cannabis seemingly) in order to cope with damage (caused by prescription tablets years ago too) and help calcium cascades. I do believe that fluoride had seriously hurt my body in life. My father died of pancreatic cancer, at home and without morphine, and I once had diabetes type 2 so I learned more about how to reverse those conditions to help the body overall. I learned about how cancer operates. Mina Bissell on RUclips explains it well when she says that a healthy body has up to 7 billion cancer cells, I think, as it shows how fear causes intrusive action when non-action could be better, eg. through fasting, to reset things. It is possible to detox the body, as Master Shi was saying there - you gaining weight suggests you can gain new structure. You could probably say that your body transpires. Apologies that this is such a long comment, I'd feel worried if I left anything out that I thought might be important for others to consider in their health. Your brain needs to relax with your body to renew itself so you can just apply what you know day to day, I reckon, and see what works for you. Also, avoid fluoride. Get a reverse osmosis filter so that you can drink water which won't build up in your bones and teeth not just for your bones and teeth but to prevent the damage it does to your other organs, such as your endocrine system and thyroid. You see the results after applying discipline to your needs as you want to reach an improved state. I'm so glad I put effort into myself as there was a time that I fought with myself daily, for being depressed, until I realised that unhealthy habits had become a part of my identity. Change followed, slowly, and still does. Now, when pain gives me depression, I just wait until it stops again, knowing all I can do is my best. I'm not sure that unnatural things like orthodontics can be remedied completely through bone regeneration mechanisms however so I will probably use that unnatural mouthguard at night soon for relief if I don't get at least one or two days in the week where I get minimal TMJ disorder pains. Hibiscus is definitely helping me with that pain recently, and I haven't had access to cannabis with thc for over two months. It used to really help, but I'm not sure if it helped my ear damage- histamine works on smooth muscle in the ear canal, and histamine receptors apparently exist near endocannabinoid receptors. Knowing enough about how the body operates is surely useful for achieving health goals! Heeding comfort /discomfort can be good as you can sense a greater good for yourself. 🙏 🎶

It's good that you're actively doing what you can to facilitate self healing. In regards to fluoride in the water I remember people telling me to get a water distiller as ( apparently) the resulting water is better quality that using a Brita filter , which was what I was using at the time . Then someone else told me that it filters out everything from the water including minerals, so you'd have to re-mineralise the water afterwards. So I didn't get one in the end , more because of the price rather than the re-mineralising. We tend to focus on the water , but what about the fact that most people brush their teeth twice daily with flouridated toothpaste as well as tap water ??!!!

I had been using a copper cup for my (filtered) water but I have recently stopped and have instead increased my copper-rich foods, like organic cacao as I know copper is essential as a trace mineral but toxic as a heavy metal and I have yet to find out where on the spectrum the use of copper vessels leaves us!

He is beating around the bush in this interview but I'll try to say this more directly: the "Bone Marrow Washing" set he has been teaching publicly does in fact not lead to bone washing. As he said, you can't learn this from Shaolin, ironically. The real practice is much more advanced and can't be practiced until you meet certain prerequisites.
