What is battle cats?
The Battle Cats is a free-to-play tower defense video game developed and published by PONOS Corporation for iOS and Android, which was originally released in Japan under the name にゃんこ大戦争.
Who is Courier Cat
Ancient Egg: N101 is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked from the Catnip Challenges after completing five Behemoth Culling stages. It was added in Version 11.5. True Form massively increases overall stats, increases cost and recharge time, while also gaining Behemoth Slayer, Long Distance and Area Attacks.
Courier Cat is a potent anti-Red Rare Cat. With Long Distance and high DPS, it does especially well on stages that feature mostly or only Red enemies where they can easily hit multi-layered Red enemies with terrifying ease. Its health is not enough to survive many hits from enemies that reach it, so it must be protected with meatshields or tanky anti-Red units. Units that are Strong or Resistant to Red enemies should be enough in stages that focus on that trait. In other words, it synergizes amazingly with Sushi Cat, allowing the vast majority of Red enemies to be completely demolished, as they usually have low range as well. In general, though, what Courier Cat needs is fast meatshields, as it does have a tendency to run ahead a bit too much.
Courier Cat's short recharge time and decent range allow it to be stacked easily, not to mention its Long Distance, allowing for "burst damage" approaches as well. Its Behemoth Slayer is nothing to scoff at either, as it makes their already good stats very high against them, with even a chance to avoid taking damage outright. Courier Cat is especially good against Casaurian Ahirujo, as the Behemoth Slayer and Massive Damage combine, providing over 33k DPS at level 30 with all Blood Fruits, and 52k at level 50! However, since they stand at the same range, Courier may occasionally fail to hit Ahirujo. Courier Cat also struggles with longer-ranged Behemoths like Infernal Pegasus Deonil, Crustaceous Scissorex and Ultima Beast Naala. Its short range means it is useless against Professor A. and can only deal chip damage against Red EnerG.
Aside from its utility, Courier also has an efficient Worker Start Level UP Combos with Mighty Aethur Ltd. Given how useful Courier is in general, it can be put to great use at rushing, especially combined with other Worker Combos.
Courier Cat's rarity also meets the requirements to be usable on 4-crown Legend Stages, where its great raw stats allow it easily destroy lower-difficulty stages. This is one of the first Rare Cats you should level to 45, as Courier Cat is useful on nearly every Red and Behemoth stage and their raw stats make it useful on many others.

Has Ponos ever nerf anything directly, For example Dailsi (basically the best unit) got “nerfed” when the angel sloth was added making a counter to surges but what people are want from courier is to get rid of it which will probably never happen.
In my opinion I think courier it’s balanced in late game but I made a new account when the behemoths came out and before I even completed chapter 2 ITF and Ururun wolf. And the game was EASY AS SHI-.
I think a good “nerf” is making behemoth stages more late game like after Musashi or Mecha Bun smth like that.

Well, about the dodge, with how many you usually spam out, on behemoth heavy stages, the dodge actually happens pretty frequently. It's a 5% chance, which may sound low, but that means on average he dodges every 1 in 20 attacks from behemoths.

Spawn another Courier cat
In my opinion courier sort of has to be in this weird position where he is really good otherwise endgame basically becomes impossible outside of getting +80 on all your super and gacha rares. But he shouldn’t in any way be as easy to obtain as he is right now its obvious that endgame needs him but early to mid game is simply super easy and way to brief with him in it. So I think they should not only increase the items it takes to get courier cat but also make it so you have to grind way harder in order to get him since he’s so good

I don’t understand why ponos won’t EVER buff or nerf units. Like they will add tfs and talents for ‘buffing’ or new enemies for ‘nerfing,’ but will never EVER directly buff or nerf even if it requires completely changing the game for the worst (buffing behemoths).
And I mean SOMETIMES they do, but never really anything important.

Good analysis and depth made on good ol' package man. Ponor I feel was maybe smoking a little too much pack when designing him as they most likely didn't test him at all.
But I feel much more disappointed bc Ponor could've easily avoided this if Behemoth was it's own trait 💀

Courier is my personal favorite unit, yeah he's broken but outside of behemoths you don't need to use him. Also he's goofy, his bald spot do be big

They should nerf the cost. From 5 Purp. And 5 Red B stones to 5 purple, 5 red b stones, 5 Purple catfruits and 5 Red catfruits which id the problem because of his op stats, easy early game, and you can get it by ITF Chapter 1-2 if you're lucky.. Soooo

Cameraman is better than Cyborg (for late/end game) also dw i doubt Ponos will do anything about Courier. They will just give him the Dasli treatment, by basically adding enemies that counter him. (They are desperate to counter Dasli)

I think ponos does not nerf units directly due to some japanese law or whatever, instead they nerf units by adding stronger enemies iirc

the raw stat are busted, he already explained in the video. Adding any modifier just make it even bustier, so yeah strong make it broken as well

I don’t think courier should be nerfed, but I do think that the means of getting him should be accessible at LEAST after itf c3, the fact that you clear the least amount of behemoth culling stages for the best egg unit is absolutely insane.
