In case anyone’s wondering, Paragon and Renegade refers to the moral choice options in the Mass Effect games. This episode was released in 2011, a year after the 2nd game and a year before the 3rd game.
@@wesleydamen2018 It’s just not really useful for him to use it all the time, he’s usually in the mix of communication enough to know what’s going on already. 🚨 Red Alert! 🚨 I have to make a slight Watchlist correction: 32 - 34 History Of Trunks 35 - 39 I'm sure you're nowhere close to these episodes, so no damage is done. This was always the intended order, but I made a slight editorial error. All I did was move Episode 34 before History Of Trunks.
You always seem to have a much better time watching these than most people doing reactions. I'd say this more of the start of where it becomes it own thing, instead of being the same kind of comedic formula as Yu-Gi-Oh TAS where it's very meta and rapid fire jokes one after another. Season two is still very meta and referential with it's humor , where as season three is where it goes fully into this place in between an parody and a very funny fandub that most abridged series on RUclips today now emulate.
Roshi mentions in the original Dragon Ball while disguised as Jackie Chun, a great enough martial artist is able to read minds. Roshi himself is able to read minds, and he does it just the one time that I know of
I actually agreed with Goku in the original when it came to Vegeta finishing the Ginyus. While there's always room for killing in self defence, if this was a war in real life, I think Vegeta's actions against two beaten and unconscious foes would be considered a violation of the honorable "rules of engagement" lol But that's why Vegeta works so well as the anti-hero, he has that dark edge to him so Goku doesn't have to. They balance each other very well in each story arc.
Goku reads krillin's mind once.... And he never does it ever again. No one even mentions this ability ever again not even king Kai (who is supposed to be the person who taught this technique to Goku)
Goku had no telepathic abilities. Goku trains with the Lord of Worlds who uses telepathic abilities, now Goku can use telepathic abilities. Reading ones mind like he did to Kuririn on namek was just Goku's awesomeness. With his power of spirit, he could literally do anything he put his mind to. Goku also uses telepathy in order to read Krillin's mind to catch up on their experiences on Planet Namek. Guru can communicate telepathically with his Namekian offspring as well as others. He is also capable of reading a person's mind while drawing out their power.
In Burter's defense power level never directly translated into speed, it was likely that those with higher lvls were faster but they're a weird amalgamation of strength, speed, and (I would assume) Ki. So Burter could have an exceptional speed 'stat' and be lacking in one or both of the others... mind he's still not faster than Freeza and almost definitely not faster than Ginyu himself as they said but Jeice also has a higher power level according to official sources and they were equalish (I'd say Burter had a minor edge...).
Power levels are the basic quantifiable unit of energy within the body of an individual, Scouters can unravel the superficial level of this energy, which is why people have trouble understanding the core value of these units (and how versatile they could be).
My favorite line of this episode is part of the reason why Zarbon is my second favorite character (note: I don’t think I spelled the pink alien’s name correctly and I can’t remember the exact number of how much Zarbon spent and I’m on mobile so I can’t pause the video while typing a comment) “Not to mention we lost Dudoria AND Zarbon, the latter of whom spent (money amount) making long distance calls to his girlfriend WHO I AM CONVINCED IS NAMED CHUCK!”
There’s one movie not included on TFS’s playlist that I would recommend watching between episodes 30 and 31. The Dead Zone, with Garlic Jr. The rest and any other’s not on the episode playlist can wait
Man, I never watched the original DBZ through, TFS taught me the basic timeline and I don't think I *could* watch the original now. But after Overly Sarcastic Productions did their Detail Diatribe vid about how well-written the Super Saiyan prophecy is, Vegeta's unhinged rambling about it just gets EVEN FUNNIER. Seriously, watch OSP's summary of it, it's an hour long and it's SUPER fun.
Oh, and "Goku time," was a reference to U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer. I didn't hear it, but it looks like the subtitles indicated playing the song at that moment
In the series he explained reading killing mind by going through some weird training on the ship that he took to Namek Love your reactions!! thanks for the good daily Content💯
I remembered the 1st time I saw Vegetta playing a song on Burter's throat I nearly died laughing, laughed so hard I cried and nearly lost consciousness. Probably one of the funniest shit ever to bitchslap me.

A wee bit of misinformation in the comments. A higher power level does in fact make you stronger and faster. This is why Goku steamrolled them. Where Goku learned telepathy is never, at any point ever explicitly stated. The first time he used it was on Krillin, telling him not to kill vegeta. This was after he had died and trained with King Kai, so that's where he presumably learned it. However Master roshi has also been shown using it as early as the 21st Martial Arts Tournament. When Goku was a teenager. If Yamcha could learn the Kamehameha simply by watching it, maybe Goku could learn telepathy
