Getting this for my aunt. She liked the Tribit Stormbox Blast when playing those old 70’s and 80s soul songs, but we were playing that in an big room.
The X600 might be better for a smaller size room. Plus it has an old school radio look.

The audio resolution is exceptional for the size of the speaker but, the Bass starts to distort after 40% volume, just like my 2 Motion plus I use for stereo pairing, they share the same characteristics at high volume, but I really do enjoy the speaker, the spacial audio is impressive... I'm just waiting for Soundcore to introduce a larger model with better bass floor to match the fidelity so the sound quality keeps it's balance at high volume playback, it is a small speaker compared with my other Bluetooth speakers... Great presentation as usual!!
Just received the X600 and all I can say is that Soundcore has hit the proverbial ball out of the park! This speaker is the truth!

I bought the X600. WOW!
I appreciate your comparisons to other speakers. Being a recording engineer, I know how a speaker’s “sweet spot” is “on axis”, in other words, 90 degrees in front of the speakers, which is where you placed your microphone for the comparison. That’s fine. However, to me, the true test is off-axis. I.e. mic @ 45 degrees. That is where this speaker really shines! I also own a JBL Charge 3. I did my own A/B test and, again, WOW! The key is the spatial button, which creates a surround sound effect, and, the center speaker atop the unit. When mixing music, we usually put the lead vocals “hard center.” I have a feeling the X-600 designers route the recording’s center channel to that center speaker… especially when the spatial button is selected. The JBL is a tube and it sounds like it. Its sweet spot is directly in front of the speakers. Turn it sideways and the sound detail decreases significantly. The X-600? Pretty much the same at any angle: very high definition.

Wow quite impressed, seeing that this speaker has a 50watts output rating i do wonder how incredible the newly released Bang & Olufsen A5 would sound with it’s 180watts output and yet very portable, Soundcore is quite doing it big and yet affordable 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾

I'm kind of a speaker junkie and was wondering about a couple things that are often letdowns for me.... I like to control the music at the speaker... so I love to have song skip and song replay options on the speaker itself... can this speaker do both? Also so many speakers sound great when they are pointed right at you but sound quality drops off fast when listening off axis... how does this one hold up listening from the sides and behind the speaker? Thanks.

What I realised after buying one of these is that I cannot connect the speaker to two devices simultaneously which is a shame really, as it would be handy. My old Bose Soundlink II does support this feature as well as the Soundcore Liberty 3 earbuds. 🤔

No you can pair with another x600
X600 is great if you like a REALLY bright speaker and don't need to listen more than 30 minutes at a time before your ears start bleeding. I still have time to send mine back to Amazon. Tried every EQ imaginable, and the forwardness was not improved at all. Even spent some time running them in. Don't believe all the hype for his speaker on RUclips. Soundcore is confusing a bright, forward presentation with clarity & detail. This is NOT a HiFi speaker.

Should i get the X600 or the BoomPlus? I like some bass but im not crazy about super bass. Also i want it loud for a 4x5meter room. I like the ideea of of spacial sound, my tablet has 4 drivers and Dolby Atmos so i think i understand the concept. So my question is: the X600 lack power (loudness) and enough bass?
I wouldn't say it lacks power just not as bass heavy. But it's certainly loud enough.
