Hi Jenny, my name is also Jen, my younger sister Kristen was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on Thanksgiving of 2022, she has been taking the drug Tagrisso for the past 5 months, her markers are down from over 300, to 126. She has the same cancer as you. Her cancer had already spread to her brain, her bones all throughout her body, basically everywhere. This treatment is working for her, I know everyones case is different, but I wanted to tell you about this. You and your family are much loved and prayed for everyday and thought about everyday I spent pretty much all of last year in the hospital due to my epilepsy and crappie Dr's so you are very lucky to have a great team I gave up trying to find a good Dr so my regular family Dr took a whole weekend of his own time to do research on seizure medicine for me and he found one and I haven't had a seizure In 7 months so he saved my life
My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer when I was 8, and made it through two remissions until I was 14 when complications from chemo caused her body to not be able to fight anymore. I can't quite explain how thankful I am for these videos Jenny, as it shows the side of things my mom was potentially going through when I was home with family or friends. I helped my mom with her surgery after care, massages post chemo, medications etc.; even at my young age I just loved being able to help her any way I could, but I knew she kept the scariest from me and her fears are something I never really thought in depth of. Being able to see your experience and think of her gives me a new found respect and love for all she did for me as her child, and I wish nothing but healing and positivity for you and your family so you can get back to your babies as well! Take it one day at a time, and advocate any time you feel you need!! With love
Lifting you up in prayer. My favorite Bible verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. This verse has carried me through a rough divorce, death of my parents, sons addiction and my open heart surgery. Dear sweet Jenny ... I say this without knowing, ( I'm new to your channel) have you done everything you can to get to MD Anderson or Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion? I've only seen a few of your videos but after watching the videos and after my fiancé went though 11 months of small cell lung cancer treatments locally here in Ohio, I highly recommend getting to MD Anderson. You are amazing but what you are going through and with so many positive treatments for non-small cell lung cancer today, it concerns me how sick every treatment makes you. I've been praying for you every night. My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March and they removed his right kidney. Tomorrow he has a CT scan on his lungs.

Our Son -in-law was assaulted and had a very serious head injury. The Doctors didn't think he would live or have a meaningful life afterwards. Well he lived and he's back to normal. Praying only works if there’s a God. If there’s a God you need Him. Please seek after Him. The Bible says if you seek for Him with all of your heart, you’ll find Him. This has everything to do with your eternal existence and whether you will spend it in the presence of God or in judgment for breaking His law (hell-the world hates that word but pretending it doesn’t exist won’t make it go away). The Bible says that Jesus is the way the truth and the life and that no man comes to God except through Him. The truth is there to be found if you will seek after it. I hope you will.

You are truly blessed with a massive amount of prayer warriors. I pray that you are able to rest tonight and are OK alone. City of Hope is the gold standard so, as you already know, you are in the very best hands. I am an RN and my husband was a surgeon at St Joseph’s in Orange, CA and City was where he sent patients, family and friends that received a cancer diagnosis. Take all the pain and sleeping meds….it’s best for your body and mind to sleep more so you can rejuvenate. You’ve got this.

Dearest Jenny, my heart is in such sorrow for your pain. I have advanced emphysema. It came out of nowhere after years of being told I had adult onset asthma. I don’t even know how I got it. I said all that to say that last night I was having a really terrible episode and felt like I was breathing through a straw. I am all alone and thought I might have to call 911 and then I thought of you, as I was standing by the sink wondering what to do. I thought WWJD, what would Jenny do and the answer that came back was that she would try in every way to find a way to get comfort for herself and that you would make your mind still and get through it which is what I did. I finally was able to breathe a little better and fell asleep. I woke up once or twice wheezing and again thought of you and wondered how you were doing and was drawing strength from your bravery. If you ever think that you are a burden or that you were whining or that you’re weak., Please know I think that you are probably the strongest person I’ve seen. I know that you count your blessings before adding a up your troubles and that has been very very helpful for me. Please know that I am so sorry for what you are going through but that you have given me strength to deal with what I have to deal with daily. Much love to you and your family. I will be praying for you. My grandma used to say the way to cheer yourself up is to cheer someone else up and you do that every day. God bless you and thank you.

Now that you are in COH Hospital they can care for you better. It’s depressing being in the hospital Turn your light out and get as comfortable as you can.God still has you Jenny. My prayers are with you. My niece is sick with lung cancer that has moved into her brain and now her liver and spleen. I have prayed for her to know our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. To know Christ is to have peace. She is doing everything she can to stay alive but they have now cut her off from chemo. Stay strong and pray for inner peace and strength. Amen

Praying fervently for you dear Jenny. God is a great big God who can do more than we can ask or need. I am part of a prayer group and we have had so many prayers answered. Our Son -in-law was assaulted and had a very serious head injury. The Doctors didn't think he would live or have a meaningful life afterwards. Well he lived and he's back to normal. Praying only works if there’s a God. If there’s a God you need Him. Please seek after Him. The Bible says if you seek for Him with all of your heart, you’ll find Him. This has everything to do with your eternal existence and whether you will spend it in the presence of God or in judgment for breaking His law (hell-the world hates that word but pretending it doesn’t exist won’t make it go away).
The Bible says that Jesus is the way the truth and the life and that no man comes to God except through Him.
The truth is there to be found if you will seek after it. I hope you will.

So comforting to see an update from both of you. Editing is the very last thing you need. You have so many people in your circle who have never met you but feel as though you are family. You are truly blessed with a massive amount of prayer warriors. I pray that you are able to rest tonight and are OK alone. City of Hope is the gold standard so, as you already know, you are in the very best hands. I am an RN and my husband was a surgeon at St Joseph’s in Orange, CA and City was where he sent patients, family and friends that received a cancer diagnosis. Take all the pain and sleeping meds….it’s best for your body and mind to sleep more so you can rejuvenate. You’ve got this.

Dearest Jenny, my heart is in such sorrow for your pain. I have advanced emphysema. It came out of nowhere after years of being told I had adult onset asthma. I don’t even know how I got it. I said all that to say that last night I was having a really terrible episode and felt like I was breathing through a straw. I am all alone and thought I might have to call 911 and then I thought of you, as I was standing by the sink wondering what to do. I thought WWJD, what would Jenny do and the answer that came back was that she would try in every way to find a way to get comfort for herself and that you would make your mind still and get through it which is what I did. I finally was able to breathe a little better and fell asleep. I woke up once or twice wheezing and again thought of you and wondered how you were doing and was drawing strength from your bravery. If you ever think that you are a burden or that you were whining or that you’re weak., Please know I think that you are probably the strongest person I’ve seen. I know that you count your blessings before adding a up your troubles and that has been very very helpful for me. Please know that I am so sorry for what you are going through but that you have given me strength to deal with what I have to deal with daily. Much love to you and your family. I will be praying for you. My grandma used to say the way to cheer yourself up is to cheer someone else up and you do that every day. God bless you and thank you.
