I just baked and they are so delicious I can’t explain ❤ everything in this recipe is perfect 👌🏻 just since my otg is small so I had to bake 185 degrees C for 12 minutes ❤
Hey there, new friend! Thanks for joining me, so glad to have you with me on my baking journey! These cookies are super delicious, you'll love them! Please do let me know what else you'd like to see! 😊
Looks great. Will be making. What is the size of the scoop: 1 tbsp, 1.5 tbsp, 2 tbsp? Your scoop looks like 2 tbsp. To add a bit more decoration and chocolate, press 4-5 chocolate morsels into dough after placing dough on baking sheet sidebar: thanks for leaving in the mistakes (egg shells dropped into bowl). It just makes your video more relatable to us non-pros. Humour always welcome.
@@MoversandBakers Ok good to know, just because I have another old recipe of chocolate cookies with corn starch (almost same quantities (like 1/4 cup)) and I was wondering if you used anytime before
Eggs cannot be substituted in this unfortunately. You could swap caster sugar for brown, but brown sugar adds to the chewy texture so I quite like it! I have shared a video for how to make brown sugar at home if you cannot find any in store near you 😊
I tried to make it, chill the dough for 45 minutes. Yet it melting down in the oven, even stick to the baking paper 😢 it doesnt work for me, don't know why
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear! Did you follow the recipe exactly? Sometimes I find it needs a little longer chilling too for the dough to be really firm so it doesn’t spread too much in the oven.
@@rossadyana3843 Did you use any different ingredients? Your chocolate (for melting) has to be regular dark chocolate, not compound or anything different, and sugar/butter alternatives don’t work either, ingredients and quantities must be exactly as in recipe.
Caster sugar is finer than granulated but not as fine as icing/powdered sugar. The smaller granules allow the sugar to dissolve better when baking, so you don’t get the grainy texture in the cookies
flat is good though? i mean not REALLY flat that it cooks too fast and it becomes hard hard after a few seconds of coming out the oven. i’ve done this recipe two times and it turned out bad because 1, i didn’t beat the eggs and sugar that much, and 2, because i chilled them for too long so i didn’t get the pretty cracks on top. but on my third one i improved those and here’s my recipe in cups and grams: 2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips (110 grams) 2 tablespoons of butter (28.3 grams) *melt and mix them together* 1/3 cups of flour (5 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon/ 43 grams) 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder (28.3 grams) 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2 eggs 7/8 cups of brown sugar (175 grams) *beat for atleast 5 mins until the sugar is dissolved then add to the chocolate and butter then mix. when completely combined, add the flour mixture* (add in chocolate bits in the batter. it’s optional but i really recommend it!! it makes it more chewy) place it in the fridge for 18-20 mins ONLY preheat the oven and bake it at 360C° for 10 mins (depends on ur oven so make sure u check on it every two mins bc it cooks quickly) even if it’s a little soft when it’s in the oven, take it out and let it cool bc when it cools, it get crispy from the outside and chewy from the inside. (don’t open the oven while it’s cooking!! just take them out when it looks crispy from the outside with cracks.)
Wow those look delicious I am going to try it very soon cause these are my favorite dish
Edit: I tried these and it was so good

Amazing taste. But everytime I bake cookies after some time they get softened. Please help 🙏
Hi Andrea! I was wondering to replace the flour with corn starch too? I don’t know if you try it this way too, thank you
I have never tried replacing flour with cornflour. Why are you considering this as an option?
@@MoversandBakers Ok good to know, just because I have another old recipe of chocolate cookies with corn starch (almost same quantities (like 1/4 cup)) and I was wondering if you used anytime before
is it okay to not using mixer?
What are the alternatives for eggs and brown sugar?

Where can i find the exact measurement
I've added them to the description box for you.
