definitely in the ballpark. A few minor tweakings and the job should be perfectly done. Congrats.

Great vid! The Metal Zone and Blues Driver are close. The GT has the leg u because of the further tweaking that can be done.

Gt1000 takes a lot of crap from snobs but I reckon it’s a hidden gem - sounds great man!! Thanks for this 👌🏼 I could hear slightly more high frequency energy from the core (particularly on the metal) but it’s very close & nothing a little EQ wouldn’t remedy

I like the drives from GT-1000 than the real pedals. I have the GT-1000. and those pedals and have the same experience. I think the digital drives sounds more refined and smoother. Better to my ears

Digital sounds different, but I would not say it is any worse. Though I am interested how the Boss GT-1000/Core would produce the edge of the break-up sounds. Rock on, thanx!

You can tweak the GT1000-Core to cover all of them, including the amps in the more expensive units by importing IRs... Biggest bang for the buck pedal, IMO...

You can set it up, but the differences in sound are still big, especially in bd2 and mt2

A good SD1 is all I need for a drive, so that might work

Analogue, more harmonic, purer sound, more more dynamic range, better response to attack.

What pedal are you using for the sd-1 in the gt1000core?. Dont remember seeing a sd-1 in there.

I have boss drives and high end stuff, I also have a core, it’s so close, it doesn’t matter :) people making a fuss over a very slight difference can drive you nuts

In GT1000core, I can't find SD-1. what is the name of SD-1 in GT1000 core??

To my ears, GT1000 sounds better than the metal zone, but the blues driver and the super overdrive sound better than the gt1000. But the differences are very minimal and one can probably dial the gt1000 to sound the same or better than the analog pedals.
