    I bought one because Nita Strouse gave it thumbs up and Johnny Marr uses a GT-100! If it’s good enough for them, it’s good for everyone

    my Fav tutorial for the GT1000 core REAL LIFE ussage.
    Quick question: Have you used OD / DST / FZZ external pedals with the Core? Any recommended Order in the board?

      I did try a few overdrives in the loop and I couldn’t really tell the difference between the onboard ones. I think you should just try it and see if you feel it’s right

    hey man, i love the setup and planning to get one for me .. but what do you think about the pedal Mooer Micro DI.. i think will work fine, it has XLR out (and it´s small)

      I haven’t used it but I think any DI will do. I just had that one lying around.

    Great video... Btw, iwant to ask. Where is the Bluetooth dongle connected to? My Boss GT 1000 doesn't have Bluetooth yet. Thanks..

      Hey! Actually mine doesn’t have Bluetooth. The Core doesn’t. But you can buy one but I have forgotten the name. It’s fairly inexpensive if I remember

    Great video, I was always struggle with BOSS application. One silly question - do you really need GT-1000Core, BOSS kata has many options that you can use? Ah... one more - how you guys doing sound on stage - additional monitors?

    • @wrashchild
      @wrashchild  Год назад +2

      Thanks! Yeah, Boss can be tricky. The Katana does have effects and you can get a foot switch but my goal is to have something I can carry around. I keep the katana at the rehearsal space and at gigs I just use the back line amp as stage volume. Plus, it would be tricky to program all the small changes for each song with just the Katana.
      Stage sound is into the Return of the back line amp. At a pretty low volume. Then we use the stage monitors as well.

    Great explanation maaan! Can you do smt like scenes switching with these 3 knobs? Like in HX stomp?

    • @wrashchild
      @wrashchild  Год назад +1

      Yes you can. It’s called “assigns” in BOSS’s system. You can have one switch control 16 different parameters at once I believe.

    • @shedsburning9730
      @shedsburning9730 Год назад +1

      @@wrashchild What about presets? Can you assign 1 knob for preset 1, know 2 for preset 2 etc? And change banks/patches via external switch

    • @wrashchild
      @wrashchild  Год назад +1

      @@shedsburning9730 you can assign the switches to do whatever you want. If you have more questions I recommend the gt1000 Facebook group.

      @@shedsburning9730if it's like a boss GT1 you can jump directly to any specific patch number using assigns.

    I think it's great your showing how to setup a mini pedal board using the GT1000 core, but Like so many youtube postings the person giving examples just races through it and the person trying to learn something becomes lost. It would be nice if you would just slow it down a bit. You didn't explain the function of the foot pedals or what type of board might be needed to set and secure everything on?

    • @wrashchild
      @wrashchild  Год назад +2

      Good point about the pedalboard I used. I forgot to mention that. I see what you mean but it’s not really a tutorial, more of a rig rundown as stated in the title. The foot pedal would be it’s own video as it’s a big rabbit hole to jump down.
      I recommend you joining the gt-1000 Facebook group for any help.

    I noticed you have the "Orig" speaker sim selected for your stage amp. Wouldn't it be better to turn off the speaker sim for the main output?

    • @wrashchild
      @wrashchild  Год назад +1

      If you noticed that it’s greyed out. It’s not in use. My output is for the Katana Return so don’t need a speaker sim as you said.

      @@wrashchildThanks! There’s quite a variety on Amazon so ordered mine. Great find - I use a Boss pedal board case but I keep stomping the edge of the case - the button thingies will raise things , hopefully 🤞
