Couple of dedicated videos of what things mean when u modified your cars and how the modifications would improve the car and or problems it could cause also how much things may cost be greatbit like an online seminar even as a live chat and people can ask questions. A standard mk4 with a z18xe small block 1.8 weighs 1180kg as a guide. I cant imagine it weighing much more than that with the roll cage and b234 in it and being stripped out
what a machine saab power i remember that type of engine in 9000 turbo power is unbelievable nice older car doing its thing. that car would probably blow most cars away today sounded so evil
Had to be a Saab engine always preferred Volvo and Saab to any other make by far not a Vauxhall person that being said this car looks amazing and is a credit to him

B204 is the one you one literally the same as the one in this Astra/b205 the b205 is a eco power on valve cover meaning lighter internals hense why he's had to get forged bits but if you got a b204 it would be making the same or maybe more power due to it being so strong inside these two engines 2.0l or 2.3l versions are literally just as capable as a 2jz but with 4 pistons people have got 800hp out of these things just depends on how good the tune is and how deep your pockets are for bolt ons

The cam covers all fit right the way from the 1984 b202 to the 2010 b235 so you can’t say what it is based of that. 9/10 if a Vauxhall has a saab h engine in it it wont be a b2x5, it’ll be a b2x4 with trionic 5 management. B2x5s had trionic 7 which although is superior to T5 is not suited to the conversion. Agree with you though about their strength, there is a b204 on its original crank shaft at 1200hp. This guy actually didn’t need to forge this engine due to the sheer strength of the original parts. Does make it lighter though forging it.
As a car enthusiast and someone who has prepared 4 cars for trackdays,i can't understand how people spends a fucking fortune to build this work of art and puts nankang ns2r semislicks on it.... literally it's the worst semislick, they are complete garbage. On my highly modded golf R for trackdays i never understood why it was just not driving as fast as other cars, and when i changed to nankang AR1 semislicks the build started to make sense and i could get the max benefit of all mods... i mean tyres are the only thing touching the ground... spend good money on tyres always.
The welds you can see at 4:41 ain't up to par. The fact that it's on a roll cage to keep you safe is mad. I hope this was fabricated an welded by a hobbiest and not someone in the trade.

Them Saab B234r engines are no joke. Reliable and very tuneable.
Yup. Stock pistons are made of chocolate but the blocks are solid. They can handle 500hp+ easy with a set of pistons and rods.
Andy Gidlund ran a 9-5 with 800odd bhp. Savage but couldn't get power down. On YT somewhere
The standard pistons and rods in the older b204/234 are far from chocolate, they easily do 450+ bhp. Your possibly thinking of the later b235 engines.
