Hello, and welcome or welcome back to my Sissy Spaces. If you are new to my channel, my friends call me Charleen but my family call me Sissy…thus the channel name. I live outside of Atlanta with my husband of 32 years, our two young adult sons and fur baby, Max. I create all cleaning and homemaking videos and give you tips and tricks on how to maintain a clean, organized and tidy home.
In today's video we're deep cleaning the upstairs 2nd owner's suite bedroom and bathroom, as well as tidying the walk-in closet. I am also restocking and organizing the pantry and fridge as well as sharing a grocery haul from Walmart and Sams. Today is sheet day, so I'm sharing some laundry motivation as well as cleaning tips and routines. This video is also full of homemaking motivation, tips and tricks as I'm cooking dinner for the family after a long day of deep cleaning and a quick patio refresh. Btw, I use the febreze plug ins, they have a blue light on the top that blinks when it needs to be replaced…get ours at Sams too! Also, my husband and I have been together for 36 years, since 1988! LOLOL

I have been watching your videos on my television and sometimes forget to let them run on my tablet so I can like and comment. I haven't figured that out on the tv yet and don't want to bother my son with showing me. I will do better about commenting because I sincerely love your channel and want it to grow.
I'm not sure you understand just how informative and helpful your videos are.
Anyone who has a home of their own, no matter the size needs your videos. You break down the explanations of each task as to how, what type product is best and the reason it is import to clean it and do maintenance on a regular schedule.
I had an idea that maybe you could make a home maintenance schedule and share that with us viewers. It would be helpful to beginners in homemaking and us that are seasoned homemaker s as well. Just a thought.

Yes Wanda…there’s only one Wanda in my book. I was concerned and am so happy to hear you’re doing well. Great idea about the home maintenance schedule. I’ll see what I can do but also remember. I’m only 55 but my memory is shot. I think it’s because of those anxiety meds I was taking. Thanks for always returning and watching and I’m so lucky to have you as a friend. Sissy thanks for the motivation! I use different smell goods which include candle melters, diffusers, plug ins and glade pull ups. I use the pull ups in my closets, the candles and melters are used periodically as well as the diffusers. I have a few of the glade sprayers that are on the walls. I have a large home and believe it or not the smell is very light in my home. Oh and I use incense from time to time. As I’m writing this I’m like that’s a lot…lol, but I like a vanilla smell. It works and since I rotate between all I don’t go back to the store regularly except for the plug ins. Have a great week love…speak with you soon and I begin my spring cleaning this week. Been watching for a few months. Love your channel. I've learned a few things from watching. I now use vinegar in my laundry. Changing the sheets is so much easier when I raise the head of my bed. Why didn't I thing of that, lol. Oh by the way Spray Away is the only window cleaner I ever use for years now. Please keep up the videos, they are so motivating, thank-you!

Thanks for thinking of me Sissy. Still in pain and trying very hard not to end up back in the hospital like I was for 2 weeks in September. That was the first time since 2017 so I had gotten pretty used to not going. My condition is called pyoderma gangranosum. Basically my immune system attacks good tissue in my body. It feels like having a bite taken out of your skin. I've delt with it for 20 years now and you'd think I was used to it by now, but I'm not. Right now I have myself in a position where it's not unbearable but as soon as I move, look out! The thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated and your videos relax me and make me forget for awhile. Much looking forward to the next one. Happy Sunday, Sissy!Thank you for another great video 😊. I also like to put frozen items in plastic bags before they go in the freezer. I recently found some reusable ones on Amazon. They are thick and easy to clean and sanitize especially since I mainly use them to store frozen food which are already bagged.
Great idea about the reusable bags but my boys will throw them out. Once they leave my home, though, that is an option I’m definitely going to take.

I love my Kia and before that I had a Lexus SUV. The Kia is cheaper to maintain and great on gas mileage, but I do miss my Lexus.

Happy Monday Sissy! I’m a day late because I spent yesterday visiting my youngest son who lives a few hours south of me.
I had a question: what setting do you have your scent plugs on? I have the same ones and on low, I never smell them and on high, where the scent is noticeable (when I come in from outside), they only last about two weeks. Am I “nose blind” to my scents on low?

Although they are all set on the same level, the one’s on the catwalk always empty before the others, around two weeks and my bedroom sometimes last 3-4 weeks. I love your videos! What are the measurements for the dawn and vinegar cleaner?
Hi and thanks for watching. I stop measuring long ago but i refilled the container in the video and it seemed as if it was 1/2 - 3/4 cleaning vinegar, 1/4 - 1/3 water and a tablespoon of Dawn.

I said Silk sheets are NOT good for menopausal women. I love my 600 thread count cotton sheets because they’re soft and breathable.
